Yep, I want consistency down back, not 130 one week and 40 the next. Even at his cheap price I'd rather Yeo or Hurn etc

Agreed love HT but like getting regular 80+ and occassional 90-100 from my backs especially premos.
Expect KK to continue to improve with another preseason in him and will be watching to see who does what in the backline and mids before finalising my team.

:)

Really good subject RD. About an hour ago I tried picking a complete team arse about, low to high. Picked players with the lowest prices that I thought would play and who might score reasonably well. And that was very, very hard to do in defence. The only one I came up with under 200k was Mitch Brown.  Really hanging out big time for the NAB because if some good rookie defenders don't pop up I'm going to have to change my team structure substantially. And I really like my team as it is.  As I said, great subject. Cheers.     ;)
But what I have atm

K Kolodjashnij   S Docherty   D Rich   B Smith   J Aish,,, M Brown                    // C Byrne   R Bonner

Ringo

My current backline

K Kolodjasnig, B Smith, T Duryea, J Aish, R Harwood, Mitch Brown (D Nielsen, M Brown)

Duryea being my speculative pick based on his finish to the season.

I am big fan of going cheap in the backline Ringo but you will have to have big coconuts to run with that lineup  :P

Rookies are only place holders and I do have a fair amount of cash to alter if rookies on other lines are ok.

Yeah probably thinking more about Brown career avg. 47, Harwood 59 of possible 132 games played, Aish just an unknown at new club, Duryea could pay off along with KK and Smith , I'm no expert but looks like a backline that could bleed a lot of points ?

Thanks Shaker agree very speculative and will probably change 100 times before Rd 1. Harwood will stay though as a lot of missed games in 2014/15 were form issues and his laziness.  Was the kick in the pants he needed and expect him to average 80+ and be in Brisbanes best 22.

Yes Ringo it is still early I've currently got Rance , Bartel , Smith , Seedsman , MacKenzie , Mohr with Drummond and Brown (ess ) on the bench ?

Peter

I had Mohr too - what made you put him in at this state?

Has had a bad injury run , scored ok when he was playing and he is cheap :P

Peter

Any confirmation of JS?

shaker

Not even any security that he will play but one to watch

RaisyDaisy

Is anyone not starting one of Shaw, McVeigh or Boyd?

Usually I like to start one the top tiered defenders, but with McVeigh having a poor preseason, Heater costing a lot and Boyd getting on is there a legitimate case to not start any of these? Would we fall behind by not?

Feels wrong not having one of them at D1  :-\
