Decided to punt on Savage as D6. Wanted to avoid the donut this week to turned Ruggles into Savage after going Brown -> Brand.

Had the choice of McVeigh, Boris and Savage and really just flipped a coin between Boris and Savage and then justified it to myself by saying Savage was the slightly cheaper option.

Carnage has cost me Docherty and Pendles in past couple of weeks.   With you not keen on over 500K for defenders. Only one I paid for was Heater at his bottom.     Hasnt stopped yet either.   Got to replace DMac now and whoever doesnt come back from Wells, GAZ,    expect and need Adams, Laird, Hall back.

Still not 100% convinced on Docherty. Has GWS, Adelaide, WCE, Sydney & Hawks to come which he historically struggles against.
Problem is, Doch doesn't have enough history to be sure he won't come out and blitz all of those too.

While im happy i got dochers he only beat the guy i would have played (byrne) by 20.

Problem is, Doch doesn't have enough history to be sure he won't come out and blitz all of those too.

Docherty has been building ever since he arrived at the Blues not sure what your problem is with him.
New guys rise to replace old favourites, some are one year wonders but the steady rises are usually legit.
1 of my better moves has been bringing Doch in in round 2 and am very happy so far, Tippet also finally playing dividends.

Brought Docherty in this week at the last minute in place of Motlop, one of my better decisions. Had to absorb a doughnut for Barlow but he'll be back next week to replace Mundy who has done his calf again.     :) ;)

Im convinced..reads the ball very very well and seems to of improved disposal.I picked up Simmo 3 weeks ago at 485k and Doch was 496k..just missed out otherwise if it was other way around id prob get Doch, seems to have a big ceiling..but prob too expensive now

Many will be looking at having both i think, as both can still score well when Carlton lose/ get thumped.

Dochers is the real deal. Top 10 draft pick, good user, prolific ball getter. Gun. Will be a lock for most next year, particularly if hes a m/d
