Simmo vs Docherty + 35k

Think you have to go with the value pick, Docherty has averaged 105 and is still reasonably priced.

I think Simmo is more reliable in tough games.

Anyone considering Enright?

He's scored incredibly consistently, apart for a few weeks ago when the Cats smashed the Suns.

Already had a rest, which is a worry, but assuming the bye is his next week off hopefully he doesn't get managed again!

Looking at him, Bartel, McVeigh or Pittard and he'd be the most unique!

Been looking at Boris for a while now but his bye is the killer

Don't mind that at all but the resting is the major issue. You'd think he might get one more before the bye and another after I reckon, so for this reason I'll be passing.

As for Bartel, he's infuriating to own haha. His last 3 weeks have been sick but he was well down before that and I thought he was due for a rest.

I'd be targeting McVeigh personally.

not sure he needs to rest that much. I think he plays through the byes and then rests one towards the end of the year.

remeber we have round 23 resting.

so 1 rest already, 1 rest in byes, 1 rest before finals

honestly that could be enough, one beofre finals and after is 5 in a year. He isnt that old, he missed 1 last year and 2 the year before, has played 20+ the last 10 years.

Considering he nearly retired last season and Geelong convinced him to go one more season, I reckon he's pretty important to their plans.

Its impossible to forecast anyway, if he's sore he'll get rested, if he's feeling good to go then there's no need to. All depends on how he feels.

Boyd, Shaw, Bartel, Simmo

current premos

cant decide who else to get kind of want to keep my defense an old folks home so might go McVeigh instead of Docherty

Yeah I'm liking the look of McVeigh, even with his high-ish BE. Should start knocking out some good numbers soon enough.

Him or Docherty to finish off my backs.   Probably go McVeigh and pick up a def/mid rook to enable loophole and coverage later in the year

Can't consider McVeigh until I see a ton or two

No doubt he can, but not jumping the gun

Docherty is an absolute jet. Get on board.

Anyone considering Trengove as a def rookie?  Negative breakeven, at worst will make cash and at best will earn you some decent points in the medium term.

No, but Tucker is on my radar still.

Things could get desperate down back pretty soon with regards D8
