Got to admit liking simmo to howe pocket alot of cash

Howe 35 DE % from tonight, surely that will keep his SC numbers down?

Got to admit I'm not liking Howe's chances of getting a spot in Hawthorn's real team.

Probably correct but is a shot.

Their depth is pretty atrocious so he's definitely a chance. Probably their 24-26th player and teams rarely ever get the best 22 on the park.

B: Duryea, Gibson, Stratton
HB: Birchall, Frawley, Burgoyne
C: Hill, Mitchell, Smith
HF: Hodge, Gunston, Breust
F: Puopolo, Schoenmakers, Rioli
R: McEvoy, Shiels, Lewis
I: Ceglar, Hartung, ?, ?

In contention would be Langford, Sicily, Litherland, Whitecross

Really hope Brown, Hartley and Tippa show something tomorrow because a lot of the other cheap defence rookie options are looking shakey

My defence looks like a dropped pie - Ive got LMcDonald & Terlich @ D3 & D4

Ive played around with Yeo & Hurn, I think they are viable starting selections that you would think are more likely to increase output to last year

Why isn't anyone mentioning DRich? He is my lock with Birchall at the moment

I like the idea of Bartel only getting rested for a few later in the year so you would think he will make a strong start, I had written him off but I might get on accepting he may rest for 1 or 2 extra games which is not a major deal

Anyone considering Michael Johnson? Has been a reliable scorer for many years and at 435k may be a value pick...

Holz

Did weits grab anyones attention?

He will be a premo eventually but maybe this year he can go huge for a kpd and go 70?

Everyrhing he has done has been impressive

Does anyone like the look of Boyd's run early,
I know he is likely to get rested, but hopefully I will have some coverage by then, and he will have scored enough points to be worth the investment

Brown and Hartley delivered. Tippa not so much

Don't think Brown or Hartley will have it that easy every week though.

I just can't justify paying that much for an 18 year old KPP. He could just as likely score a 20 as he could scoring 100

b.smith injured. was it serious? takes him outta contention

I just don't know about Smith. Yes it's NAB but he's not really pushing a case at all. And Simmo, well

Did Carlton really get that hammered that 21 points is all he delivered?
