one i haven't seen, dyl roberton. 90 average, will go 95 imo
was wondering why he hasn't popped up, is there a big reason i'm missing?

Have seen in a couple of teams, At that awkward price and probably questioning whether he can get to 95.  Only exceeded 95 on 6 occasions last year

To put it simply, Bartel is cheaper and has a better scoring history.

Did his ankle in the intra as well but should be good to go NAB 3 or round 1

Haven't heard any talk on Suckling or Newnes, both big names pre season last year.  Suckling now playing for a high scoring Dogs side, and is Newnes real breakout a year later?  Thoughts...both aren't in my team, but are on my radar and make my team in some format of the game.

Newnes is mid only, Suckling interests me a bit.

Ah really!  Hence no talk on Newnes then.  Will be watching Suckling this weekend closely.

With David Swallow now having an indefinite return from injury thiink Jesse Lonergan could be relevant in defence,

I have to say I haven't really considered him. Main reason is he has had just the one good year and is pricey. That being said he is likely to back it up....few bad games last year.
Rolled his ankle last week or so back but not major and will play Nab.
Other players who are cheaper and touted for good years are another reason he isn't in teams... Go cheap in defence mentality.

He probably fits in the Aish/Harwood tier.  Any others people are eyeing in this range?

Have JL  at  D.3 and  ZW GWS)  at D.2   in a cheap but hopeful defence. Would be very happy if either of them had a break out season.                        ;)

One guy really flying under the radar is Adam Saad.  Was great last year, registering a 77 average from 16 games including his last three games of 45, 63, and 42 when his body pretty much packed it in for the season.  Yes, he had hip surgery in the offseason but apparently he come through it well, and is on target to play some part in the Gold Coasts Nab challenge.

His game is suited to SC and I reckon with both Swallow and JOM looking like having delayed starts to the season he could very well improve his average to 85-90 which would put him on the edges of top 10 in the backs.  Shame about losing the DPP though.  Dont have him at the moment but will be watching his role closely up until round 1

Too dear for me. If he averaged 77 last year with JOM and Swallow out of the team for at least most of the year, I doubt he's going to up his average any higher. Much better options at $400k.

I understand your reasoning, and to be honest I probably still have Hurn and Smith ahead of him in his price range, but he really strikes me as a prime breakout contender, role and body dependent of course.

Expensive for someone who may only edge the top 10 at best.
