I don't think his final numbers will be too different to the numbers he put up last year. If he improves his disposal efficiency and keeps his cool, the few games which drag down his average should disappear. To me he's going to go between 105-110.

Anyway, if Greene, Barlow or Bennell scare me off before the season starts, he'll take one of their positions. Otherwise I'll trade him in.

Will miss 1-2 at most but more likely to just be a fine. If he plays he's in my side. Think he will be the #1 forward this year and average around the 110 mark

ok lets talk about the only thing that matters.

priced at 105, what do we expect him to average next year.

The reason im picking him is the guy just doesn't miss games. Only missed 4 games in his first 6 years.

Locked in my team

Will haverage minimum 100, and predicting around 110. Lock if he plays first round. If he isn't going to play first 3-5 though will probably give him a miss and look to upgrade. Plenty of value in the forward line.

Luke Hodge got nothing for a proven criminal offence, Dusty should get the same (Goose and Gander).

Luke Hodge did not threaten a woman with violence I expect some sort of punishment cant see the AFL doing nothing and seem to be excepting that sort of behavior against woman , but apart from all that he is a must in the forward line just when will depends what happens

Luke Hodge threatened Women, Children and Men and actually could have killed someone.

I wouldn't be surprised the media is very bias and prejudice.

Yes I agree the media has been out of control for a long time and you know that there are some that are just sitting back and waiting to whack the AFL if they do nothing

Really would love for someone to come out about drink driving if he does. So its ok to drink and drive and possibly kill people but not drink and yell at someone.

Back to the numbers.  Primed to have his best season and expecting 108-115 avg.    If starts will be in my team or an early upgrade.    fwd 1-2 for 2016.

still want to see him docked games though and comparison to hodge is not relevant.  stuff the afl  this is richmond matter and they should take care of it.

Clearly the act of drink driving is far worse in my eyes than a verbal threat to harm and using stand-over tactics.
Why are we comparing these things? judge each action on it's own then hand out the appropriate punishments.
The AFL is the problem, if these illegal acts where solely/directly handled by the police without AFL pressure and influence justice would be served, do we believe that sporting stars or celebrities are receiving the same treatment as you or i would get is the question.
How about instead of talking about how Hodgey got off and comparing all criminal acts by other AFL players that follow with leniency we say, oh geez maybe Hodge (a senior player) should have got in a bit more trouble!
Same treatment for everyone regardless of social standings is what a great country should be aiming for, the penalties should be no more or no less for a famous person than you or i.
Still lock him in though, there is no place for morals in the brutal world on Supercoach   ;) & and if a chopstick face-stabbin' woman terrorizing buffoon can carry my team to the SC finals then it's time to get a kick boxers hair cut, some neck tats, eat more Asian cuisine and start chanting WE'RE FROM TIGERLAND!!!!  ;D Seriousness mixed in with Tomfoolery...I learnt it from the 7pm project  ??? :P

This is just kid stuff...nothing compares to the St.Kilda schoolgirl scandal. That kept me in stitches for weeks, especially the photos of Riewoldt and Gilbert posing in their birthday suits.

Hodge paid 10 demerits, a fine to the Hawks and a fine to Victoria police. Hardly getting off. Martin so far hasn't paid anything.

ok fine him then.

Hodge was found guilty though of a criminal act and charged $450.

Martin was guilty of nothing so given Hodge was fined $5,000. then martin should get fined less then that.

lets move on.

I don't see where he will gain up to 10 points from myself. I see the interchange cap reduction potentially hurting him more than helping him, he doesn't have the biggest tank going around. Going into his 7th season, same coach, game plan, etc, see him in the 95-105 bracket myself. Upgrade for me after a couple of quite games.
