Hey guys, I've had a bit of a look at the 2016 team picker and I have come up with this? Any advice or issues?
TEAM NAME: Foxy Looker

Mid: S.Pendlebury, T.Rockliff, D.Beams, G.Ablett, M.Barlow, B.Crouch, J.Trengove, N.Freeman (J.Jansen, D.Gore, B.Keays)
Ruc: S.Martin, M.Leuenberger (M.Chol)
Fwd: D.Martin, L. Dahlhaus, H.Bennell, S.Johnson, D.Wells,S.Kerridge (C.Petracca, M.Willis)

Thoughts?

Not bad, like some of those pods.

I'm a Saints supporter, but not sold on Freeman from a fantasy perspective. I'd imagine you might see someone else emerge in preseason who might be better at M8.

Personally not a fan of Byrne, but can see why you've picked him. Hope he proves me wrong.

Thanks mate. I am not sold on Freeman as well but the rookies are up in the air for the time being and I'd still think he'd be a decent chance for round 1 at this stage. I am also not a big fan on Byrne but I'm struggling to find any defender rookies at the moment. Rookies can be adjusted after the NAB Challenge

very early days so comments need to taken with a big lump of salt ...

i'm monitoring McVeigh at the moment - had off-season surgery, may not line up rd1 but still early days as commented ...

as Spinking wrote, Byrne is not likely goin to be good enough to be on the field - could be a bench spot however ...

Yeo could be a wildcard - remains to be seen what role he has with McKenzie and some other tall defenders coming back in for WCE - like but definite monitor obviously

Beamer - just watch his durability but otherwise he usually starts a season off well.
Is Barlow a C/F in DT?? if so, i'd stick him forward and have a bench rookie swing for cover
Trengove is an issue to me, so much time out of the game - I don't reckon they've given him enough of a discount to make it worth that risk - is he $250k or under? if $300k or more, I will not be risking it ...

Bennell could be good but I reckon too much risk around how he'll go at Freo ...

just my two cents at this early stage, but like overall in terms of general structure mate  :)

I actually did not know about McVeigh struggling for round 1. Thanks for that information mate, I'll have to look into it. Like I have said, I don't think Byrne is good enough for D6 however there are not many other options at this stage. Those defender rookies are really just placeholders at this stage. That is a great point about Beams' durability, I may look to get rid of him now. And also Trengove is $180,800 in RDT, he's looking like a great pick despite all the football he's missed. Also I think that this is Bennell's breakout season. He averaged 92 in a poor Suns outfit and Freo play 5 of the 6 leakiest teams from last year in the first 5 rounds. I think he'll be great and he doesn't have to do to much more to be a top 6 fwd given the lack of options up forward.

Anyway, great advice mate. Some really good points you've pointed out to me that I need to have a look at

Football Factory

Haven't seen a team I don't like at the moment, well done. You could have any rook at the moment like you say, we need to see Nab games and round 1 teams before we can make solid decisions on them.
