Yeah think him and Enright could be good options, but the chance of being rested is a bit of a worry, especially if guys like Rance can match their scoring

Yeah, current plan is to trade Crouch, move Petracca into mids, Adams fwd, and get a def premo. Current team is:

Shaw, Boyd, Laird, Adams, DBJ, Tippa (Ruggles, Brown)
Danger, Pendles, Gaz, Jelwood, Murphy, Libba, Crouch, Oliver (Keays, Smith, Davis)
Goldy, Nicnat (Goetz)
Zorko, Robinson, Barlow, Wells, Kerridge, Bennedy (Petracca, Menadue)

With like 550k in the bank

Wasn't my best week with so many players out, posting only 2255

Not sure what to do this week. Have 130k in the bank, pretty keen on grabbing Hopper. DBJ to Hopper brings me to about 280k. From there, can do something like Kennedy to Dusty or Dahl.

Alternatively, could keep Kennedy for 1 more wee, and save the trade. Then next week, go Davis to Mathieson, and then upgrade Menadue to Dahl/Dusty (hopefully have enough, if not then Bennedy goes).

That would finish your defence and have Adams and Tippa/Rugg at D7 and D8.

250k in the bank. Murphy to Gray is happening. Will leave me with 170k in the kitty.

Now for my 2nd trade...Bennedy being dropped means he won't lose cash, so if I wanted, I could sub him with Kerridge and play Petracca, but this leaves me with no forward bench. I could also just play Smith, Davis, or Keays. However, there is Tucker who I was very keen on in the pre-season. Can drop and forward (including Bennedy) for him via Adams. The only thing though, is that I really don't want Tucker AND Collins, who will be on the bubble next week. This is because then I would have to trade Ruggles for Collins, and D6-8 would be DBJ, Tucker, Collins and no DEF/FWD dpp, which I really want to keep. I could always trade DBJ pretty soon, but happy with him and Adams as D6-7 for now.

So, I was thinking, grab Tucker this week (probably for Bennedy). Kerridge goes into mids, Adams fwd. Should leave me with about 400k. Then next week, ideally Matho will come back into the team (ideally Ruggles out, Adams back into def, Kerridge into fwds). So I can go Smith/Keays/Davis to Matho, pending BEs, and then bring in either Rocky or Dahl, again, pending BEs. If Matho doesn't come in, I still have the cash to make the upgrade, and would probably straight swap Ruggles for Dahl or Rocky.

Your backs and fwds are solid but playing rookies in the mids isn't good for scoring potential this time of year.

Yeah, Murphy to Gray leaves me with 170k, and Bennedy to Zerrett costs like 168k, so I could do that, but, I really want Dahl and Dusty as my last 2 forwards haha :P

I guess the main question is, do I grab Tucker or not?

And definitely agree about the mids thing, which is why I'm entertaining the idea of Murphy and Bennedy to Gray and Rocky. Obviously Rocky is a pretty big risk this week, but could pay off massively.

Your Fwd line needs 3 to finish it.  Robbo good as a M9/f7 swingman but he isn't going to cut it with most premo fwds averaging 100+

You've also got Barlow with question marks around him.

Rocky is super high risk (this week) but Zerrett is a good place holder to have in your mids until you swing him fwd.

The idea that you could get Gray and Zerrett then get Collins next week for DBJ (or someone) and upgrade Smith to Rocky (his b/e is 120 odd so he isn't moving anyway just yet) would have your team looking super dangerous going into byes.

Well at this stage, Robbo/Barlow/Wells are all keepers for me, and trading them or putting them to the bench would be luxury trades. Obviously it'd be better to have others in there over them, but I don't plan on wasting trades on them just yet, and will back them to come good.

If I get Zerrett this week, I'm left with 2k. Next week I would have to get Collins, unless Matho comes back in. Ruggles to Collins would get me about 140-150k I reckon, which would make it close as to whether I can get Rocky next week. Wouldn't have enough for Dahl. So, I think either way, after next week I'll have traded in Gray + a premo. Getting Zerrett this week most likely means no upgrade next week. And so then it comes down to my earlier question, is Tucker worth grabbing this week? I think he has much better scoring potential than Collins, but Collins has better JS. If Tucker was out for one more week, would have made things a lot easier :P

Might need to talk to some Freo supporters I reckon...

Cheers though mate! I'm gonna have to have a bit of a think about this, because it ultimately comes down to Tucker this week and a premo next vs Zerrett (or other) this week and Collins next :)

Collins much better JS but with the obvious decrease in scoring potential. Your backline is solid so you could take the risk with Tucker (who will get games but likely to miss some too with a few Freo players returning)  but I guess what I'm getting at is, given your present cashflow situation, why take the risk getting him at all?
