If Wells gets a game round 1... wow... Will be best pick of year. At rookie price and capable of averaging 90 odd. Cant say no to him.

Till someone sneezes on him and he bursts in to confetti round 1

That is absolute gold!!!
I had him at start of last year and he hurt me so bad with his season long two week injury
Like a toothache that wouldnt go away.    Took me forever to trade him out.   Yes he represents good value and if I feel I have the coverage I may risk getting 8 games out of him for his points and cash.

Was originally not going to start Myers, but Holz may have convinced me yesterday :-X

If Wells is looking good in the pre-season, probably have to start him imo

Very hard not start both. If they stay on the field, should shoot up to $400-450k in no time while out scoring rookies, and then hopefully becoming a goldy/Fyfe type early on. If injured, easy to trade down to a rookie you have missed, with some cash left over as a bonus.

still a monitor but if fully fit and in round 1, at not much more then the premo rookies i definitely reckon he is good.

I thought he was good value last year, capable of averaging 90 odd for a 5 game stretch still, then he'll likely be traded when $400-450k. Gotta stay fit tho first...

Wells with 3 goals in the first quarter of Norths intraclub..

Not interested in intra club stats. How many spuds have there been over the years "tear it up" in the intra club matches then do nothing when the real stuff starts.
All I'm looking for is that he's fit and ready for round 1. If he plays round 1 he's in my side

Wells isnt a spud though. this is very very good news, it means he is fit and looking good. Locked in my team now

I know he's not a spud, my point is that intra club matches mean nothing and I take confidence in him playing and not getting injured rather than kicking 3 goals

Ricochet

Agree, Intras usually have their best 22 spread across 2 teams so its hard to gauge anything.

Intraclubs mean nothing
NAB 1 still means nothing
NAB 2-3 means little
RD1 means everything

But one thing that we can take from North's Intra is that Wells is healthy atm.

TomK

Also read that Norths intra is Under 25's vs Over 25's so I'd expect Wells to dominate

RaisyDaisy

Although it's good news I don't care what he does now and during nab

As long as he lines up rd1 he's locked. Hasn't left my side once

sammy123

wells will be in my side pending how he goes in NAB

He also good in a hitout v Werribee last weekend (albeit in 1 quarter). He kicked 4 goals in the 3 quarters he played today and rotated through the mids. Lock him in. If he gets injured then deal with him.

Exactly. Looks like a must have. Will burn a trade if I need to. F4 locked if named R1.
