My opinion, take it with a grain of salt as it's just an opinion-

DEFENCE: I do worry about the D5 and 6 spots, i know Brown will play but for me he is a D6, not sure how much Byrne will play, other than that i think it's good.

MIDFIELD: Very very solid, the only one i question is macaffer, i am a Collingwood supporter and whilst i heard he is flying, i am not sure if he is best 22 at this stage. Would Cuningham be better? Perhaps, wait until NAB i guess.

RUCK: solid, do not touch.

FORWARD: Pretty good, i have gone with the 3 mid pricer strategy myself, however for mine Monty is over priced, at that price you're pretty much banking on him to have the same average again, he is a upgrade target for me

:)

Thanks for that seeds  :) just in reply

-I think my D6 may be an issue at the moment with Byrne but I do think that I can make a quick change to get him to Hibberd if I need. I think brown can hold his own st D5, having him st D6 means I'd need someone more expensive ahead of him which then becomes an issue

-Yes I'm not too sure about Caff either at the moment, but the good thing is he's 199 so I can go down to any other rookies that pop up

-Yeah and I agree that he might be a bit overpriced, but he's not in many teams and oils be a great POD, I also just think he's a gift as a forward but you're right I may need to change him in the future

Just throwing my 2 cents worth in.

Defence: First 3 are the same in my lineup, Smith burnt me when i brought him in previously (haven't been following Crows preseason however, Pyke giving him new role?), Rookies TBC i guess Byrne may just crack the side, but also might just miss out.

Mids: Big fan! Macaffer is just so tempting at that price. If Redden in fit to go Round 1 (from what im hearing he most likely will be) then he could relish the new game plan of West Coast! For the bench Menegola may surprise many and get a debut as he is only just behing Blicavs as Geelongs best runners, less rotations mean players like this would be valuable indeed.

Rucks: Like you said for my team, same lineup!

Fwd: Again similar lineups, waiting on rookies and how Anderson and those mid pricers perform

Cheers for the comments mate!!  :)

I heard even before the pre season started of a possible mid role with smithy! But even if he stays of half back, a fit smith will average over 80!

Redden is my boy and as long as he's named R1 I think he'll surprise a few and average quality premo numbers !!

Surely only improvement and game time for Anderson is the way I'm looking at it! NM gave up their first round pick for him so they'd have to play him !

Thunderbolts

I think Wells has the potential to score just the same if the reports coming out of Kanga land are true and he is ready to fire.... Wait n see through NAB mate  8)

truBLUE

Great side money very solid all round ,all ways a hard choice getting the right rooks ,I currently have wells over Anderson but love the team mate

Cheers for the thoughts boys! at the moment sticking with that structure because think it will just be too much on the bench !

Cash: $16,000

After having a breakdown and not having a clue what my DT was coming to, hit the clear button and came up with this, surprising I actually don't mind it

SinnerZ

Love the structure mate, looks like a very well balanced team with some great PODS in Laird, Adams, Hall etc.

I also am considering rolling with Mitch Brown in the forward line due to the lack of rookies in there, but perhaps Menadue a better option then Broad if you swing Brown back into the backline?

Love the Lonergan pick!

Ruck structure great, however Mumford is injury prone.. Maybe a Blicavs/Jacobs a better option?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on Hall? What do you think he can produce this year? And do you think his output will be good enough for F3?

Great team mate, looking the goods!

Money

Cheers for that SinnerZ! I've trade to really balanced out my team so I don't leave any big gaps for myself !

If Menadue is named R1 then it'll be a tough choice between the two, I think I might have Menadue on the bench for now.... Just !!!

I actually posted the team about 5 minutes too early because i heard of his injury just after! I traded Mumford to Nic Nat and Bartel to Shaw !

At first I wasn't really paying attention to Hall, thinking that once the GC mids are back he'll play more of a forward role, but I think it's time to start giving the guy some credit, managed to ton up twice (I think) this pre-season and looking well at home playing in the mids. And now with Swallow and Jaeger out until who knows when I think he should have a spot

Nice team mate, similar to my setup (our defences are basically identical ;))

Not convinced with Macaffer's scoring ability and there are other options I prefer to NicNat in AF scoring.

Would prefer Menadue over Weller as he appears to have better JS at this stage, however if Lachie is named Rd.1 it may be worth a punt ;)

Thanks mate !! Yeah I'm considering going Weller down to Menadue and then Caff up to Oliver but I'm not too sure about that one yet ! Especially if Weller is named
