Fyfe missing 2 months with a back injury could mean a slow start.
Also seeing a lack of young bombers? Load up!

Fyfe's back is fine Quin ;)

And i really don't like any Bombers rookies tbh. Good ones are too expensive and others I'm not sure will even get games even with the suspended players out.

Not a bad midfield :P

My only worry is Boyd, as IMO he's basically a certainty to miss a couple of games just to make sure he can get through the season, so I don't know if he's worth the price tag. Apart from that, looks really good.
Thanks man. On Boyd, I don't think he'll be rested early in the season, more like halfway through or at the end.
Bullies first 8 games are in Melb. It goes like
Melb x8 games
Sydney
Melb x2
Adelaide
Melb
Sydney
Melb x7
Perth

So they'd probably plan him to miss the Sydney or Adelaide game. Unless he gets sore

I was expecting the likes of francis and parish to play 15 games this year even with a full bomber team. Francis especially is ready to go could be the best rookie pick of the year, comparisons made to Luke Hodge.
Just like to know your theory behind the comment Rico

"Good ones are too expensive" ;)
I can't justify spending 200k when there will be some basement guys available.
If no other rookies pop up then definitely, I'll jump on

Interesting strategy. What's the plan if the back rookies don't come through? I mean, I know there's always a few options, but is there another strategy you're considering?

Yeh it's different, but I've found a heap of back rookies i don't mind.

If it doesn't work, its simply mid premo down to a rookie, back rookie up to a premo.

Even if Francis is 60k More than brown i'd rather the 60-70 average than the 40-50. And the "good ones" are the guys who are most likely to average 70-80 ;)

That's IF they average that (which is impossible to predict at this stage). The jump from 100k-200k is easiest, always has been. Once you get above 250k, you need to start hitting decent scores regularly.

Ricochet

Take Brayshaw for example. Started at 212k, and at a 65ave or the first 9 games he didn't make 100k until after round 9.

Granted he had a few subs at the start of the year but they rolled out quickly and he still only averaged 66 after that anyway

fasttrack13

thats a fair point, still i rate francis as the number 1 premo rookie this year locked in for me

aussied

you can save yourself 10kish by taking READ out of the ruck no chance he will play before Vardy, stanley smith, blicavs clark

T Dog

on a side note Rico, I have used your strategy in a SC draft team. Having a great time  ;D

Yeh he's only there for captaincy loophole reasons atm. If a rookie ruck comes up I'll consider them
