Torpedo10

Court To Field Fanplanner squad in the Super Coach competition coached by Torpedo10. Salary cap left: $96,100.

Grant Birchall, Shaun Burgoyne, Michael Hibberd, Brodie Smith, David Swallow, Mitch W. Brown
Darcy Tucker, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti

Scott Pendlebury, Joel Selwood, Tom Rockliff, Gary Ablett jnr, Tom Liberatore, Jaeger O'Meara, Jacob Hopper, Jade Gresham
Ryan Clarke, Mitchell Hibberd, Ben Keays

Nic Naitanui, Patrick Ryder
Max King

Dustin Martin, Michael Barlow, Jimmy Bartel, Lance Franklin, Josh Schache, Charlie Curnow
Nick Kommer, Christian Petracca

Version 1.1 of my side, looking reasonably happy although I don't know if Bartel will keep his Forward status, along with some risky picks down back. No idea on rookies either.

Money Shot

Bartel is a defender this year.
I doubt you'll be able to keep that under 1mil

Hahaha yeah I mean 10! Ablett for example isn't getting a discount at all so there's 100k you'll need!

Gigantor

Montys magic number is actually very close this year!

It's the discountees that are the problem! At a rough guess I would say you are 300-400K over.

I would downgrade O'Meara and one of your backline.

Ryder at R2 is the only player I don't like, the only way I would even think about picking him would be if he maintains his Ruc/Fwd status and plan for him to be my final F6/ruck cover.

I don't mind the Hibberd pick, I can't seeing him dropping any lower but there is definitely a chance he could average 90+

Holz

you are spending alot of money down back and probably have zero top 6 defenders.

dont like the ryder pick, again expensive and not top player.

not long to find out torps.    strong looking team.
would revamp the backline,  not a good enough return for the money spent.  set and forget rucks will be the go this year so think ryder needs review.     jom doesnt have as much upside as libba or crouch.   one of your mids is likekly to change to get under the cap.    the team above has 17 likely keepers.   unlikely to able to acheive this for rnd 1.
