Crouch is a huge injury risk i might not pick him

I agree, will have to look fantastic in nab.
If he can get through the first 8 games though u have struck gold, question is how do Adelaide not be cautious with him?

Sloane, Selwood, Rocky, WINES, Swallow, Libba, Crouch and Omeara is something I am looking at ... ends up being the same as the 5 600k 1 200k and 5 100k mid strategy that I always do and I could potentially have a mid full of keepers.

Tread carefully with Wines in a couple games last year before injury he copped a few heavy tags for the first time which really knocked his scores,Boak will still be first in line but if Wines does get on a hot streak the attention will come.

Am i the only one worried about Sloane's output with Danger not there? surely he is first in line now....

@GcSkiwi, re Swallow, I think at $416k he has potential to get to $550k with a good start, will ONLY pick if he's played as pure mid during Nab, and if he doesn't work out I could cop two 90~ scores to start the year, jump on the rookie that I missed or who is exploding, and make a quick $200k cash grab at Round 3, yes I lose a trade but I'm happy to burn one to erase a mistake, allows other upgrades which come about in Round 6 or 7 easier, and I don't lose any cash making in the process
And if O'Meara is a definite no to start the year, Swallow will be a definite yes  will get rid of O'Meara, bring in a rookie and have $300k to use on my starting lineup, most likely to boost my back line or rookies

Certainly not, normally he'd be on the radar but with all the options this year I'm not even considering him :)

Sloane will kill it this year, more points on offer with Danger's exit, still a lot of handy players around him to help get rid of the heat that will come his way,, we all know good players still score well with tags, look at Ablett, Rocky, Fyfe, Danger even as example

I wrote off last year with him, way too many sub affected and injury affected games, coming off injury etc to really make a call on it, but when he was fit he exploded and scored very very well, at $569k and with a full year at a 114++ average in 2014 he has to be a lock, has he history behind him and being two years on, in a better team, he's a better player, stronger, fitter etc, look out

I didn't realise how cheap Wines was until now and I think he is a gun in the making ... Boak and Gray are probably before him at this stage with the tag but in saying that if he kills it he will be tagged in no time... in saying that I think he is a risk worth taking with an easy draw coming up.

Boak in front yes but Robbie is much harder to tag.

That's true! Maybe I will stick away from Wines then...

not a bad pick but not sure you can pick him ahead of more proven premos in Sloane Rocky Ablett Fyfe Selwood and cheap injured premos in JOM Crouch Libba with all the rookie picks.

Yeah Gray is too evasive and it would take an athletic Curnow type to tag him (reactions would have to be fast because when our team was missing players he would step his way through the centre clearances with ease - he even did it against the Hawks with no problem whatsoever).

Hartlett may catch attention before Wines if he is damaging enough on the outside and Polec could always be a possibility (Ebert would also be contrasted with Wines by most coaches as he is smaller and easier for taggers to handle - as opposed to a raging bull type).

The concern is Wines will be in his 4th year and he may attract more attention now that he is older and an established threat than he did when he was young.

I'm a bit bias but if he is injury-free and receives no tag he will average 112-118ppg imo, if injury free and tagged second to Boak I would back him to average 103-110ppg. Basically, if he is injury-free, he will be a guaranteed 100ppg player in my book (SC & DT)

(from an impartial view) he may still need to work on consistency and his ceiling though

I have Sloane in my AXVIII SC team and im worried, imo he's first in line to get the tag and Adelaide's fixtures are terrible. I have this feeling he will score okay but nothing special. I wont be starting with him in Supercoach but im happy to be wrong  ;)

Reckon Luey starts at F4 for me too

Woosha has stated he is the main ruck, and a recent interview with Luey said he went to Essendon after speaking with Woosha who assured him of that

At 310k, and with not many great forward options grabbing me I think he slots into F4

Lids, Barlow, Martin, Luey or something like that
