If you're going to pick Buddy you need to realise that it's very likely you will need to trade him out at some stage.

Historically he starts the first half of the year off well with a high SC average and doesn't miss many games but then in the back half of the season he misses multiple games and his scoring drops right off.

Taking his scoring history into consideration and the fact the Swans have a great early run means he could be a great starting pick.

Currently my F4.

Not sure about dropping input, he was injured last year which explains the form.

He may miss a few games but if thats late its ok as most get a f7 m9 swingman.

Not just last year mate. He has scored considerably better in the first half of the season compared to the second half every year since 2010 except for 2014.

2011: last 6 games 134 average
2012: round 10 onward 144 average (from 7 games though)
2013: was up and down all year, his last 5 games was his season average
2014: as you said finished strong

really 2013 he finished on pace with his average and in the other years his last month to two months he beat his average so came home strong. @015 was the outlier with him injured.

Second 11 games of season, Played 6, averaged 66.0

2014:
First 11 games of season, Played 10, averaged 92.0
Second 11 games of season, Played 9, averaged 102.8

2013:
First 11 games of season, Played 11, averaged 95.3
Second 11 games of season, Played 8, averaged 76.0

2012:
First 11 games of season, Played 11, averaged 116.2
Second 11 games of season, Played 5, averaged 85.6

2011:
First 11 games of season, Played 10, averaged 116.1
Second 11 games of season, Played 9, averaged 96.9

2010:
First 11 games of season, Played 7, averaged 115.3

So as you can see since 2010 only once has he averaged more in the second half of the season (2014) and only once has he played more games in the second half of the season (2010).

As I said, judging by his history it's likely that he will drop off during the back half of the year and miss multiple games.

Too early to discount a player like buddy, especially at his price. The nab cup should give us a good indication of where he's at. Obviously a risk, but the potential reward could be huge  :o

What are people's thoughts on him? With his proposed move up the ground could see him scoring a lot higher.

Is A. Hall or T. Greene a better option for similar price?

I also have Hall and Buddy. Can't go past buddy at that price. He is buddy Franklin. I'll take the odd 60 or 70 here and there but I'm not missing out and being on the wrong side of his huge scores. Just think..... Would u be happy not having him and seeing him in your opponents head to head??
