Victorian Invitational XI: Ian Holland (capt), Aaron Ayre, Jackson Coleman, Travis Dean, Tom Donnell, Matt Doric, Sam Grimwade, Jake Hancock, Jeremy Hart, Dylan Kight, Jackson Koop, Blake Thomson.

Should be a close match this one. I've heard of 3 guys in this list, 2 of them have played shield this season, so I think the West Indies are in trouble.

Shame it's only a 2 day match, so there is little chance of a result.

There should be a result if Windies bat first, maybe not if Vic does tho.

Every single year there are people saying things like "Oh why can't New Zealand play on Boxing Day?" or "Get South Africa over here for a 5 test series through summer."

It annoys the flower outta me because these people have either forgotten that New Zealand and South Africa are southern hemisphere teams, and they soon realise that it's not going to happen. Or they are biased flowers and think that Australia and England are the only nations where cricket is played.

Yes Australia pulls more crowds than the other two nations based on pure numbers. But you put South Africa vs Australia Boxing Day test in DURBAN they will get crowds for the entire time the test is played. The test on right now gets our highest crowds, it's the same at the other nations at this time. Get Australia playing at their home they would love it. And there's no way Australia will give up Boxing Day and New Years tests so why will New Zealand and South Africa do so willingly? (Maybe if they got 50% of the revenue?)
