Team looks very nice, don't like the name much though  8)
I share your concern with having cheap rookies, with such little cash left, you might miss out on a $123-$190k R1 starter or something, I think you'll understand what I'm saying there.
Only possible solution I can think of is possibly Barlow ---> Greene for just a little bit of cash margin?

Midfield is where the expensive gem rookies are and fwd+Def are where the cheap freak rookies come from. That's from past experience.
I'd downgrade smith as of your keepers he's the only one who I don't see as more than likely! And even one of Barlow and Bennell because I feel if still leaves you with 12 more than likely keepers!
Then with that cash you can get those expensive rookies and those cheap breakou/cash cows at 200-250k

I currently have exactly the same structure with just 3 of my keepers different to yours but 100k in my bank.

If the cats are looking like a top 4 side come the middle of the year do you think Bartel will play 20+ games?

I see him and the other older cats that are left being rested at stages during the year and he could be a risk to start with.

Just keep an eye on him.

Also KK likely to have less midfield time this year with the Suns mids coming back into the side after their injuries last year. Keep an eye on his role in the NAB challenge but a return to more half-back time could reduce his scoring.

The side is excellent none the less.

Nice team to sit on Money until we see which rookies are coming up.  Need to keep an eye on as at this stage can not see Matthieson or Keays starting Rd 1.

KK. I had KK Last year and very incontinence for his price as Gray I fell is cheap.

I think downgrade one of JOM, Libba or Crouch to fit in someone like EMack to minimise the JS risk of fielding two rookies every week

But I think if JOM is playing at round 1 he Is a lock.

Agreed, but it feels like if you'd be missing out on so much cash generation that would be valuable when upgrading to the top players over the season. Think CEY, Vandenberg, Cripps, Touk Miller, Brayshaw versus Saad and Oxley, who both were surprisingly good as Def rookies
