#16
Eski reckons GCS can win a premiership in the next 2 years, i wouldn't have someone that delusional in my starting team  ;D
Zorko is pretty solid for his 100, know what you're getting there.
Still reckon Martin will be mid only though.
Like the wingard pick, kids a star!
Rucks will be very interesting this year as to whether many can go set and forget with Goldy at 700k,i am going set and forget at the moment without Goldy thinking he may drop back to a more realistic 115 ish ave and that my 2 guys won't be far off of that, risky because we know without injury he will be top 3 and probably #1 but NicNat is solid also, eagles in for a good year helps.
Grundy is going to be a very relevant SC ruckmen at some point, but not while they continue to share time with/get experience into Witts who played 11 games to Gundy's 19 last year
all in all 7/10 for what my bs opinion is worth lol  ;)
Just all good fun at this time of year anyway.

Pies found a good formula towards the end of the year involving:
Grundy, Moore, White all running through the ruck and Reid predominately up forward (ofcourse he moves back with Cloke uninjured)
Witts only played whilst white was underperforming and Moore hadn't played yet.
Even still Grundy is good at winning ball around the ground and Witts is a good resting fwd as he can pluck a mark so even if they do play in the same team I'd expect a 65/35 share of the load grundy's way because of both ruckmens strengths.

Once again, quality team MS... Proven performers all over the place makes this team a safe starting bet!

If you're gonna roll the dice on a ruckman I'd go with Kruezer. If he gets his body right he's sure to be a 100+ ruckman.
Otherwise save 100k+ and get Berger who will score as well as both of them

I think that Malceski can get back to a 90ish average when midfielders return meaning that people like KK can return to being more of a KPP meaning Malceski can become a floater in the backline. That's just my opinion.
I think Grundy is a good p.o.d in my side and will become the number 1 ruck and dominate this team. How ever if I have enough money I really like Blicavs and Grundy to Blicavs is a possibility.
Thanks for your thoughts mate!

Grundy for me is a lock at this stage however i think I would prefer blicavs I don't see him being that much better for the extra 100k.

Yeh,  dollar/pont basis Grundy over Blicavs.

With Hale retiring do you see McEvoy improving?

Maybe slightly but he's not a good tap ruckman which is so important with the way rucks are scored now days

What are people's thoughts on Sinclair and Smith??? Think they are going to be #1 rucks and score well or not?

Think Sinclair capable to average 90.... But I don't see him being a keeper, and at that awkward price. I don't want to pay that for someone who isn't going to be in my team come finals time..,

That's true! Smith will probably have to share the load Alot so I'll stay away from him as well.

As good as smith is... They could do without him in their best 22.
Play Clark, Vardy, Blicavs through ruck and up forward. Although, I feel the point of recruiting smith was to free up Blicavs and to not have to use him as much as a rucking midfielder...
A lot to discover this nab cup I think
