TEAM NAME: Money Shot #2
DEF: H. Shaw, B. Smith, N. Malceski, D. Swallow, R. Harwood, M. Brown (R. Bonner, D. Tucker)
MID: N. Fyfe, S. Pendlebury, T. Rockliff, G. Ablett jnr, T. Liberatore, D. Myers, H. Balic, N. Freeman (M. Hibberd, B. Keays, R. Mathieson)
RUC: N. Naitanui, B. Grundy (D. Currie)
FWD: D. Martin, D. Zorko, C. Wingard, M. Barlow, B. Kennedy, C. Petrecca (D. Cuningham, R. Burton)
CASH LEFT: $229,400

Team I come up with using fan planners new more accurate prices.

Thoughts and opinions are welcome! Cheers guys!

Like the team mate, however there a few things I'm worried about. Will slightly touch on them.
Defence / Like all your picks apart from Malceski and Harwood - Nick for not having the freedom he did at Sydney and Ryan because he may not be best 22 currently (a lot may change, but I'd rather Weitering who frees up cash and is certain to play Round 1)
Midfield / Beast, paying lots of $$$ up front, Fyfe/Pendels/Rocky/Ablett quartet is unbeliavble, think there may be better value in there but you have Libba so you've touched on that aspect.. Don't like Myers, would even rather Daisy for $30k more.
Rucks / Love Nat, and have just made the change now. Averaged 114 after Round 7 or something like that, just when he began to hit his straps. Grundy mehhhhhh in my opinion, won't score well enough to warrant a start.
Forwards / Once again I love your picks, but you're also paying a lot of $$, not sure how certain Dusty is to retain mid/fwd status, Zorko could earn less mid numbers and hence lower his points, and I know it's picky but BenKen isn't the greatest pick (if he's over $130-140k which I think he is)

Over all though mate, great start and good luck for the rest of preseason and 2016. Good to see you have a handy amount of cash available also, would be happy to see you use that on Grundy or to upgrade some rookies.

What are people's thoughts on Sinclair and Smith??? Think they are going to be #1 rucks and score well or not?

Think Sinclair capable to average 90.... But I don't see him being a keeper, and at that awkward price. I don't want to pay that for someone who isn't going to be in my team come finals time..,
That's true! Smith will probably have to share the load Alot so I'll stay away from him as well.

As good as smith is... They could do without him in their best 22.
Play Clark, Vardy, Blicavs through ruck and up forward. Although, I feel the point of recruiting smith was to free up Blicavs and to not have to use him as much as a rucking midfielder...
A lot to discover this nab cup I think
Don't forget Stanley! The though of him and Blicavs rampaging through the centre will give opposition coaches nightmares!

With pretty much there whole midfield returning I see Eski having more of a loose role meaning more points. Obviously he is a wait and see. Harwood could average 90 and at 225k he is currently a lock.
Omera and Crouch I'm not that confident on and I think I would rather start a rookie where as Libba is a proven 110 avg scorer. Myers is a place holder and he is a wait and see! I also like daisy.
I love grundy and think this is his year to breakout and for the price he is I think he is a steal.
Obviously in 10 or so days when the dpp come out I will have to change my team around a bit. Kennedy is also a place holder he could be a gun but could also not be best 22 so obviously he is a wait and see.

Thanks mate!

DEF: H. Shaw, B. Smith, N. Malceski, D. Swallow, R. Harwood, M. Brown (R. Bonner, D. Tucker)
MID: N. Fyfe, S. Pendlebury, T. Rockliff, G. Ablett jnr, T. Liberatore, D. Myers, H. Balic, N. Freeman (M. Hibberd, B. Keays, R. Mathieson)
RUC: N. Naitanui, B. Grundy (D. Currie)
FWD: D. Martin, D. Zorko, C. Wingard, M. Barlow, B. Kennedy, C. Petrecca (D. Cuningham, R. Burton)
CASH LEFT: $229,400

Shaw: only safe bet in defence in my opinion. May be over priced but will be a top 5 defender.
Smith: although he will play off half back he is a proven scorer for cheap who should go 90-100. For 400k lock him in.
Malceski: with all of the GC midfield coming back I think it will push KK into a KPP role and allow Eski to do what he does best. He is underpriced and even if he averages 80 he will go up in price.
Swallow: no brainer. He is 360k and can/should average 100.
Harwood: he is 220k and has the ability to average 90. Kind of a place holder but if he is named round 1 I doubt I'll be passing him up.
Brown: he should play straight away and get around 65 in my opinion that's enough to warrant a spot at this stage.

Fyfe: the new GOAT
Pendles: Mr consistent
Rockliff: Under priced and could be the number 1 mid come seasons end.
Ablett: ageing but will still be a top 10 mid if fit and if he stays below 550k he is a lock
Libba: proven scorer who could be top 10 and at anything below 500k he is a lock for me.
Myers: place holder but the Essedon guys love him and should score more than a rookie.
Freeman: kid is a gun, needs to get injury free and then will be a steal.

Nic Nat: will only get better without Sinclair. He isn't too expensive either.
Grundy: reported to be killing the pre season and he is too cheap to ignore for me. Will be the number 1 ruck and he is an athletic ruck who will get possessions as well.

Martin: I think he could be a top 10 mid so he is a lock if forward.
Zorko: you know that if you have Zorko you'll be getting a 100 avg and that's enough for a forward.
Wingard: not to sure on him but I love him as a player and he will only improve with more midfield time.
Barlow: had a poor year and should bounce back and even if he only averages 90 that's enough for F6 in my opinion.
Kennedy: Collingwood supporters won't happy to lose him and I don't know why he didn't get games at Collingwood. Kid is a gun.
Petrecca: he is below 150k. Lock him in.

haven't missed a beat MS...
Defence is a tick, with only minor concern with Malceski and Harwood
midfield looks really good
rucks as well brilliant, Grundy is an all round ruckman. as a pie fan i see his major improvement coming in the hitout department and his contested marking which should add a couple more touches a game to his stat sheet. Also the least unjury interrupted pre season he has had in his career.
only concern up forward is Zorko, purely because i think hes over priced and im not sure on his role and whether it will be more midfield orientated or not. Reddon gone should help his cause but the lions added bell and bastinac!

Side Note - im shattered we let go of kennedy, and especially since it wasnt even a straight swap for howe. Didnt get a game because his kicking is poor at this stage but there is no doubt about his ball winning capabilities.

Hey guys, is Martin a chance of not playing round one from the incident on the weekend?

It is a fairly big deal standing up to woman blind drunk and threatening to stab her in the face with chopsticks i expect a lengthy ban seeing the police are now involved and the tigers have not really said much about it , I think the AFL will suspend him .

Lids, Montagna, Barlow ... Doesn't really matter if Dusty gets it anymore there are plenty of other options!

Real tough guy, huh?  Chopstick in the eye, huh?  Sounds like he needs a chopstick inserted somewhere

Have very little respect for this bloke and if I said here what I really think about him, I would probably get banned from this site. Think it's better if I leave it at that.

Excellent team structure here MS. Great balance.
Looks as though Leuenberger will get the R/F status. Would this change your set up at all ? Do you think he would be worth a punt at F4 ?
Nice team mate. Well done.

I think I would do this personally:
Greene and Leuy in Martin and Kennedy out

Obviously a lot is going to change however with the new dpps!

crowls

Leuy is looking to be a potential F4/R3 to F7/R3 keeper.  Had Greene slotted into my forwards as POD but with he is probably going to be in a lot of teams now.

Haven't started Martin for past two years for personal reasons.  This year I dont need to make that choice he made it for me.
