Don't you think there is a reasonable chance that Dougal is so bad that they drop him and just go with a Hoff/Dixon pairing, kind of like what Geelong did last year?
Not with Schulz also out injured. If Howard goes out who comes in? Butcher. I think they'll stick with Howard :P Billy Frampton is our other ruckman not sure how he is travelling though.

crowls

next week will be
opt 1   in keays/petracca via double downgrade
opt 2   in petracca/rocky or priddis    prob rocky due to value

assumes no more injuries of course.     still have tippa/mbrown/adams/benk/mills/kerridge/davis/paps     i think adams/kerridge will be last to upgrade.   following week need to look at fwds  hopefully lids and joey have quiet weeks this week.     or may have to bring barlow back

BomberSam

Tippa to J. Smith this week.

Next week I will probably trade Ben Ken and Mena to Petracca and Keays, double downgrade. Double upgrade the week after.

Can I ask why Tippa over Mena?

Tippa's last 3 ave is 10.7 over his BE. Mena is  7.7. I know it's a small discrepancy but it puts Mena first in the pecking order for me. Besides I have Laird so I will be using him has a loophole and having Tippa fill in down back.

Mena is also leading the most traded out 5506 (4.67%) to 4351 (3.69%).

Interesting to note too that Adams is only 13.7 over his BE yet most people are holding him. Hoping he bounces back with some good scores there I think.

I'm not trading menadue or Davis as they have barely made cash. I value a trade as around 120-15k, so I feel it is a waste trading out these types who have only made 60-80k. Rather have them sitting on my bench and trading people who have made significant cash and are about to hit thief max price

Sometimes you just need to bite the bullet and acknowledge that they just didn't work out

Consider it a corrective trade

No point hanging onto those 2 for much longer because they won't make much more cash and are not reliable cover

I dumped Menadue last week and I plan on dumping Davis next week

good point RD.

can be frustrating when a rookie makes no cash at all. but sometimes you gotta just bite the bullet

if you don't trade out Davis or Menadue, they'll just sit on your bench and just slowly burn. Get them out while you have the chance. Both would be considered on the chopping block and won't probably make too much cash for the rest of the season anyway.

Have to consider the opportunity cost by letting them take up a spot on your bench

e.g. I could have let Gresham and Davis sit on my bench but instead I turned them into DBJ and Wagner, who are now 273k and 228k respectively and will assist greatly when it comes time to upgrade my side

Holz

I dont care how good your travelling give this guy a game GWS

Hopper

Round 1: 26 touches 6 marks 7 tackles 7 clearances 5 I50s 2 R50s 2 goals
Round 2: 30 touches 6 marks 3 tackles 5 clearances 5 I50s 0 R50s 0 goals
Round 3: 38 touches 6 marks 4 tackles 7 clearances 8 I50s 3 R50s 2 goals
Round 4: 30 touches 8 marks 6 tackles 5 Clearances 13 I50s 0R50s 1 goal

its a shame we cant see contested as i reckon he would have around 15 a game.

rest somebody if you need to.

was he? oops I though he was an emergency so didnt play.

RaisyDaisy

You two boys could get those numbers in the NEAFL

He did flower all in the NAB. Can't see him getting much of a shot this year unless injuries hit them

nah im no good here is my averages in VAFA League Div 3.

8.3 kicks 2 handballs 2.3 marks 1.5 tackles 0.75 goals 0.75 Behinds 0.3 FF 0 FA 47 DT

for the record Champion Data does their rankings going into the draft and had him Number 1.

"The stats gurus have declared GWS academy star Hopper the standout in this year’s class, comparing the inside midfielder to superstar Patrick Dangerfield.

Hopper averaged 16 contested possessions this year â€" one more than Dangerfield in his final Crows season â€" gaining 557m per game, rated elite for a midfielder and similar to the Cats recruit.

Hopper can also impact the scoreboard, averaging one goal and nine score involvements.

No. 1 player at championships for contested footy, clearances and third for metres gained. Think Patrick Dangerfield."

would have lined up round 1 for basically every other club.
