If lobbe has gone down I think Douglas Howard almost becomes a must have, if he's going to be Ports #1 ruckman.

It would be better to bring Howard in over Cox

He scored 46 as their "number one ruck" on the weekend

I'm not even considering him

1 game though, he did alright in pre season from memory, at least we get another week to look at him.

Nope, he played rd2 so he is on the bubble

Ah crap, well I'll definitely be passing on him now then.

However in terms of JS between him & Cox you would have to say Howard will be thrown in the deep end from now onwards & told to ruck his heart out, he should make some cash even if his only pumping out 50's.

I actually didn't realize Howard was only a forward.. That puts Cox slightly ahead for mine if you have a DPP player on your ruck bench already (Grimley)

But Howard would have the better JS you'd think..

I started with Cox on my ruck bench (because I was like 99% sure he'd debut, generate cash and provide cover in worst case scenario, so I'm actually considering Grimley now, but I know his JS isn't that great. Although I feel like he did enough of the weekend to keep his spot.

I'm definitely getting Smith through whoever (most likely Davis because of the slow burn), but then I can potentially use any of Tippa, Mena, Bennedy to grab Grimley (who I think will score better than Dougal, but has worse JS). Tough spot.

I might have to pass on Tucker unless I downgrade Weits to him or I might be looking at a defensive donut (depending on Laird).

I wish I started with Cox over Grimley. I wouldn't be bringing in Grimley - scores like crap and JS is dicey

The only problem I see with doing the double down this week is that I miss on getting Buddy this week who could explode vs Essendon!
Gwilt has been doing a pretty good job against KPFs this season, one of them were Buddy though.

Yeah, it's a very unlikely move I'll admit.

Howard number 1 ruck, and has job security. Should be around the play so should score decently to make cash the more games he gets. 60-70 average I think

Marcon

Will be ditching Weitering and one of McCarthy/Ben Ken this week.

Leaning towards keeping Ben Ken as I think it is more likely he pulls out a big score this week. Also McCarthy's 44 will somewhat stunt his growth over the coming weeks.

Mat0369

Weits can sit on my bench for a week I think. He isn't going to change in price so it's no big deal there. I'm hoping the Rug comes back though.

Out of the current rookies on the bubble this week I'm only comfortable grabbing Smith, gonna pass on the rest.

Not sure which rookie to cash for my second downgrade...

Tippa --> Tucker
Menadue --> Cox
Davis --> Cox
Mccarthy --> Cox
Milera --> Cox

They all probably have a little bit more money to make, but I already have Petracca so takes away a downgrade option for next week. Tippa is likely the closest to his ceiling but then have to settle for Tucker.

kilbluff1985

very possible Davis could get dropped FYI

kilbluff1985

and Dunkley had 34 touches so could return

I'm not sure - feel like they have a plan for Dunks. Played first 2 but hasn't even been an emergency since
