Chris Scott said there would be 3 inclusions for the cats this week. That spells trouble for Ruggles and his owners I think.

Hopefully McCarthy comes back in... If Ruggles is out that should serve as a reminder to people not to bring in people after one game!

Hmm I'm assuming Enright, Kersten and McCarthy are the 3 'ins'..

Kolodjashnij out for Enright, who was a late inclusion last week, then possibly Gregson/Murdoch for the other 2..

I'm not too worried at the moment, but if he holds his spot this week you'd think Ruggles is about locked in their best 22.

Pretty close to the mark.

So is Ruggle's JS decent?

You're guess is as good as anyone else's, but it seems good enough for now

As for Papley, I'm keeping him as bench cover as long as he is getting named each week. Wouldn't want to field him, but decent bench cover

worth trading oliver??

Depends what you trade him out for. If he keeps pumping out his average when he returns, he still has $40-50K in him.
If you get a rookie that is on bubble and you think will make decent coin, then yes.
If you get a fallen premium or keeper that is about to go up in price, then yes.
This all depends if you have no other better option to trade out.

Am I being premature getting rid of Papley? two tons, a 40 and a 20... tons will be out of his price rotation soon, if he makes another 100+ I'll look like a dummy but his BE is 60-something...

He has made around 100k, and doesn't seem like his price will be going anywhere in the next couple of weeks, unless he goes huge again. Since there are some decent looking rookies in defence who will go up 50k this week it's definitely worth doing the trade if it's on, a downgrade is by no means absolutely necessary.
I reckon the downgrade is the option though, because good rookie options aren't always available.

I just don't know about Davis. Why is a 26 year old (or however old he is) mature age player copping a rest after 4 weeks? In any case he doesn't seem to offer a whole lot to the team, as he doesn't get a whole lot of the ball and has very average ball use. Has made 85k so far, so still has a fair bit left if he gets back in the team.
Could be moved on as there are other rookies that will make more money in the short term. But as far as M11 goes, it's probably not that important to get rid of him. If there is nothing else to do this week, a downgrade worth 60k is viable, but definitely a long way behind getting rid of Papley in terms of necessity, and that is itself optional.

i tend to agree on davis he is a slow burn but not worth the money vs the trade! i think you need at least 100000 from using a trade otherwise your team will be sub par come seasons end
