Papley B/e 62
Milera B/E 61
Bennedy B/E 56
Menadue B/e 34
Davis B/e 17

So who is on the bubble we can down grade to:
Darcy Byrne Jones on the bubble this week with a negative B/e 85 estimated price rise $73k
Ciaran Byrne on the bubble this week with a negative B/e 61 estimated price rise $48k
Tom Ruggles on the bubble this week with a negative B/e 57 estimated price rise $51k
Josh Wagner on the bubble this week with a negative B/e 51 estimated price rise $50k

Unfortunately noting on offer in the forward or mid lines.
All very true. I've weighed up whether to double downgrade and switch McD-T & Adams fwd to get the Byrne boys as I have Paps and Milera but it doesn't seem worth it as they've made bugger all. Will probably just get Ruggles this week as at 102k I will have enough to get Zerrett. Tom Lee might be my other defensive boy on the bubble in two weeks....played his first game for the season v Hawks and scored 61pts... is a great kick and mark, think he could play the remainder of the year, all going well.

I am in the exact same frame of mind as to whether a double rookie downgrade is actually worth it yet.
Thus far i am going Milera>Byrne-Jones & Barlow>Zerrett, 2 rookie downgrades for 200k seems unworthy,
and since i can't decide between Byrne & Ruggles as the 2nd option i may just pass on these guys.

Slightly worried that Ruggles will get a lot of games and make good cash in the long run.  :-\
with you on this gruff,  if I dont have to cover Smartin, will probably go this route.   Kicking myself I didnt do it 2 weeks when I was promoting zaha and zerret

I'm a little concerned with Ciaran Byrne's job security, seems to be part of the fringe group and there are a few of that group due back from injury this week or next. He's been solid but not outstanding, can any Blues fans shed some light on where he stands internally/job security?

RaisyDaisy

Yeah I'd love to hear from Blues supporters too regarding Byrne because they do have Everitt etc coming back

Had another think and as much as I want Zerrett to strengthen my team I think it's my best best interests to double downgrade. Not Milera though as it's not worth it. Means I have no forward cover unless McCarthy is back but will reassess that later...all other 6  fwds have dpp so sort of have cover regardless.
Lonergan> Ruggles
Papley> Byrne-Jones

Everyones keen to get in DBJ this week, but Impey might be coming back this weeks and they both would play a similar position.  Can't see DBJ getting dropped after such a good game, but one stinker and he might be gone!  Thinking Wagner might be a better option?

Bernie Vince, Garlett, Petracca (who knows when) all to come back into the Dees 22. Someone has to make way for them, Wagner would be one of a few that might.

All play different roles though

Wagner has taken Garland's spot and made it his own for the moment.

Kid looks like he's found some confidence after his 2nd game...will just have to wait for team anouncements to see who comes in out of DBJ, Wagner, Ruggles and Byrne!

Absolutely, different roles. Whether the Dees go like for like or reshuffle to get these guys in who knows.

My point was that Wagners JS isn't 100% as the OP was concerned about DBJ's JS.

I became more confidant in taking Merrett once i went through Essendons fixture, they play a lot of other crap teams twice.
He seems to be scoring well in 30-60 point loses so what the hell i am on board!

Leaning this way myself. It means I'll have to field one of the new Rookies in defense this week to cover JJ, but it will give me 400 grand in the kitty to upgrade JJ and someone like Bennedy next week. Short term pain for long term gain.
