Alright, so what rookies are we looking at on the bubble over the next few weeks?

RD3: Hartley, Rioli
RD4:
RD5: Ruggles, Byrne, Bryne-Jones, Goodyear, Wagner

Is that it?

Hartley I will bring in this week, but other than that it's not looking great. Maybe one of Ruggles/Byrne/Byrne-Jones in RD5 depending on how they go over the next few rounds if they do in fact hold their spots
which rookie is ready to be culled though?
Exactly what I was thinking, might be a corrective downgrade for me, T.McKenzie out for Hartey.

Milera? Swans and Hawks next two weeks, will probably struggle.

RaisyDaisy

Well I've got Dunkley and Milera who would be the first 2 to go I'd say - and Mitch Brown isn't far away either

what are people's thoughts on menadue.

will he be dropped. still had 18 possies. but by the looks of it he butchered

ronl

My thoughts on Menadue are that he's too worried about making mistakes.  He's shown patches of good form,  but just as many patches of   "Oh my god, what do I do next".  I tend to think Richmond will stick with playing him mainly in the firsts, but wouldn't be surprised if occasionally they rest him in the seconds for a week or two, starting next week.

I've got Dunkley, Menadue and Gresham to choose from. I can get rid of any of them for Hartley with a bit of DPP action. One will also become Petrecca when he's on the bubble.

Watching the Crows v Tigers game yesterday, I thought that when he had the ball he looked fairly composed, started slowly but finished well, I am hoping he can stay in the team and increase in price steadily.

Will probably pass on Hartley, his first score in the 80's was a one off IMO, wont be a very high scorer.

Will not get him in unless one of McGovern, McCarthy or Brown are dropped.

Rocky to Parker/Gray will hopefully be my only trade next week

Ringo

Will be watching the B/e this week to see if any need culling.  Despite the lousy scoring all have well and truly exceeded their B/E's so further price rises can be expected. All my rookies had negative B/E this week.

may also depend on team selections and any injuries whether I trade or not.

I was thinking the same thing. It's too early to start culling guys because they haven't had a chance to make any cash. I'm not trading someone that's only made 20k for someone that is going to probably score in the 50's most weeks.

M W Brown to Ruggles is what I am looking at now for a few weeks time

MC

Yeah I think i'll be passing on Hartley too at this stage, plenty of rookie backs coming through I think!

dottman

Surely no ones culling rookies already.

Yeah this is looking like an option, I feel Brown is going to be lucky to make 100k, might be worth cutting your loses early

Depends whether or not you started the right ones!

I personally ditched Gresham for Papley this week, which achieved two things:
1. It gained me just enough cash to upgrade Rocky to GAJ.
2. It brought in a rookie who at the time looked very likely to jump dramatically in price (more essential this year than any in memory)
