I think Gresham is the rookie to make way this week for corrective rookie trades

If he keeps scoring 40's he will be such a slow burn and take forever to make cash whilst not providing great cover

Even if he is named, I think he is gone for Papley for mine

well said RD. i agree
1oo% agree as he is the only rookie i have that is causing some concern  and with a positive B/e this week as well he will be a very slow burn.   Just waiting injury reports to work out how I do it whether via Robbo if he is still out or Kennedy/Kerridge.

You will be in front even if papley dropped after this week.

what do people think of petracca now. played 2 vfl games in a row and been good.

Personally, I'm not too fussed because I have enough rookies playing and I started with him so I'm happy to keep using him as a loophole for a while now

I wouldn't mind seeing him come in around rd5-6

dean kent should get dropped would be very surprised if he doesn't so Petracca could come in for him

I wouldn't have thought Petracca would be ready to come into the side yet?

I've got Papley already and not sold on Hewett, McGovern or Parish, so I might just hold Gresham until Petracca gets a start. Gives a loophole option as well if Gresham gets dropped.

Yep, sounds good. I'm passing on those 3 too

Only got Hewett of those three and feel he is most likely to be dropped first.  If it is this week, probably do Hewett to Paps instead of Gresham>Papley.

I been talking to a swans fanatic which has really changed my thinking for this week. He is assuring me that hewett will Not be getting dropped any time soon.
He believes Zac jones will be out for McVeigh and Robinson out for mcglynn with hewett taking and making Rohan's spot his own.

I reckon he could be on the money. Which means I may in fact hold rocky this week and trade Gresham to hewett.

Thoughts swans fans ?

I don't think you need to be a Swans fanatic to know that

I don't understand why people are evening worrying about Hewett's JS. Don't just focus on his SC score, he's been great and has done nothing wrong to get dropped

I'm personally not getting him purely because I'm happy to pass on him because ill have every other good rookie available, and rocky needs to go for me

VFL kicks off this week, Petracca been playing VFL praccy matches. Don't know how much weight to put on it. I'm sure I heard Roosy say he'll need 4-5 games in the VFL for conditioning cos he missed the NAB.

Alright, so what rookies are we looking at on the bubble over the next few weeks?

RD3: Hartley, Rioli
RD4:
RD5: Ruggles, Byrne, Bryne-Jones, Goodyear, Wagner

Is that it?

Hartley I will bring in this week, but other than that it's not looking great. Maybe one of Ruggles/Byrne/Byrne-Jones in RD5 depending on how they go over the next few rounds if they do in fact hold their spots

Maybe add Nathan Freeman to that list... Fingers crossed.
46 possessions in 3 quarters for Sandringham.
Edit: Might be a round 7-12 bubble boy
