Quick thoughts on Daniel Rioli?

Has showed some real smarts but he's a small forward and they don't score too well. McCarthy represents much better value in any case.

Just seen he is an emergency anyway. Good to see Menadue starting.

i know Rioli wont score well but i'm half tempted to have him at F8 since i have Menadue at F6 in the hope that one plays each week

What would Corey Ellis' JS be like? Being selected in the middle makes me tempted to select him.

Rioli would have poor JS and probably makes way for Lids so I probably won't select him.

Wondering if Ellis might be a better pick that Bennedy?

With Broad out, it's back to the drawing board for me lol

I had huge hopes for Corey in the preseason but he hasn't set the world alight. One misstep and I think he'll be the first to go when Lids & Grigg return.

trouble with Ellis is he has such low scoring hard to see him making 100k even

Corey Ellis will be fine, he'll be played as much as possible this year.

Is Menadue a must have with all the lack of mid rookie options.
We're gonna have to lock him in before knowing if Gresham, Keays etc. are named in the final 22.

Is it better to just lock in Menadue than run the risk with a Gresham who's no certainty to be named?

Yes. Better to lock him in.

At this stage I'm locking in Petracca and Mathieson if nothing else pops up before lockout, at least they will play when they come back and have pretty good JS, can't trust fringe guys and not worth burning a trade on them.

Given a proper run at it, I could honestly see him averaging around 70-75ish. Might be a tad generous, but I've done a complete 180 on the kid and really rate him now.
