I think bennedy will see a fair amount of game time, didnt demons give up a decent pick to get him? i may be wrong about that

Effectively traded Toumpas for Kennedy

RaisyDaisy

So what's the verdict?

If he lines up rd1 is he more or less locked in our teams?

I'm going quite light in the forward line, so am looking to start him if it's warranted

piesfan1989

I think he'll grt games and at 187k if he can avg 70 he'll be serviceable. The top rookies usually end up getting 70 over a season so hes really no different. Hes not a keeper so if he can make cash quickly then you unload before thr byes

No i read through all of those teams and some of them have players in dodgy positins and don't even have players in the team that should be. my advice is don't listen to these

Is it Best 22 or Round 1 side?? There's a difference. ...

I wouldn't take anything from it either though

I think they're best 22s not round one sides cause they have Hampton in Adelaide's and he's injured.

Do Richmond have another spot to upgrade though? I am surprised to see Cantstandya elevated ahead of him.

And I agree Mat, was very surprised so see Canstandya get the gig

Understandable call from the outside looking in, but Castagna's actually really good. Had an amazing rookie season in the VFL last year and did enough in NAB to deserve the elevation. I suspect the Tiges knew Yaz would be having surgery on his foot which would have also played a part in the decision. Personally, I reckon Castagna's just ever so slightly ahead of Broad too despite the latter being a mature ager.

With Conca now LTI'd, Marcon's a chance if and when we need him, but if something happened to Maric, don't be surprised to see Soldo or Chol thrown in the deep end because Hampson can't handle the role, so Marcon getting elevated isn't a sure thing. It's definitely handy to have him available as a mature body ready to go though, but Townsend is definitely ahead and of the senior list.

I loved how when Hughsey asked Clayton on the Footy Show if he thought he'd play round 1, he said something along the lines of "oh, probably not".

Didn't even bother to say he's a chance.
