Do we think Byrne will get a look in for Carltons first game?  For those of us that are running a 3 defence rookie on field stategy last night was a little disappointing although he scored 27SC points from 39% game time. 

Just keeping an eye on the defence rookies to see whether strategy has to change and look at a mid pricer.  Howe is at that awkward price and will he stay in Hawks 22.

I'd say no. He looked to be playing third tall in defense which was interesting, but it means he would be competing with Weitering, Walker (if he plays defense), White, Jaksch and Plowman (injured). He had surprisingly good foot skills last year, but then as a half back flanker he is competing with Simmo, Docherty, Walker (again if he plays defense), Buckley, Tuohy, White, Dick, Viojo-Rainbow and Sheehan. I would say at least 6 of those guys are ahead of him.

Good signs from some of the Tiger kids and rookies tonight but there is a lot of players to come into the team so I think we will be mainly looking to other teams for cheapies

On Collins. .. depends how quickly APearce gets back up to speed. He joined full training this week.

On Tucker... kid is a jet and highly rated. Plus our 22 certainly isn't set. I see him and weller getting games

13 kicks amongst his 21 disposals, only 5 contested and running at 90% DE. Don't even need to watch the match to see that he's playing a seagul outside role that isn't allowed in real matches.
