Grimley kicked 3 goals today, looking ever so close as a lock

Not quite a lock but promising.

Depends where we play him. If Leuey is fit how are all of Grimley, McKernan and Daniher going to fit in the forward line?

Need to see NAB games from us first.

surely the best r3 option.

question is do we want a loophole or not?
Not a real concern - How often did all 30 players play last year so there is usually an option somewhere.

Petracca at M11 could be a good option for loopholing in the first few rounds

Kerridge F7
McDonald Tipungwuti/Brown F8/D8
Grimley/King R3/F7 loophole

Exact same setup as me, but I assume you mean F6 for Kerridge as Grimly is F7

"Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti was in everything through midfield and attack, with the rookie's delivery into the forward line first class."

I've had him at F8 for ages now and reading that was nice - hopefully he plays

Got the same as this too, feeling pretty good about the Forward rookie situation.

It will be interesting to see where he fits in. Spite and I had a chat about their side and spots will still be tough for the fringe guys, unless there are a few injuries

oops meant M7, not F7 and floating with Petracca at F5.

Ringo

I am using Kerridge in forwards with Petraca at M11 at the moment but may change if another rookie with M/F surfaces. Tony Philips apparently looked good for Pies.

Tom Phillips isn't it?  He's been in all my sides for awhile now, hope he gets some games.

yeah i'm not getting overly excited about Kerridge, no Cripps and Murphy and Hawks were hardly trying he is still locked though but has been in my side all preseason

starting Petracca is dumb imo if he isn't named round 1 could cost you 200k if you want a loophole option start Grimley as F7 then a non playing F/R as R3

but as Ringo said rarely do all 30 players play each week so round 1 i'm picking rookies that are named

Petracca is $123,900 though?

another rookie who is named could make 200k by the time Petracca gets a game

batt

I like the idea of starting Petracca if Grimley is names R1.  Guaranteed loophole for the first few rounds and then guaranteed cash generation (compared to a cheap R/F who won't play a game).

Prob means you're missing out on cash another rookie could be making while you sit on Petracca.

RaisyDaisy

I'll start Petracca only if there is not enough other rookies who actually get named round that aren't to my liking

Ringo

That was what I meant if another m/f rookie who i like surfaces Petracca will go and be a nice downgrade

Maybe, maybe not. It's luck of the draw at times with rookies and your other rookie could easily play crap and sit on your bench too. Or get injured...
