The best Swans team is missing McGlynn, McVeigh, Reid, Richards, and Rohan. There will have to be some rookies playing round 1, but everyone except Rohan is scheduled to return before round 4. Any Sydney rookie who plays round 1 will be lucky to get a single price rise.

True, but Horse doesn't drop the kids if their form is strong

If there are literally bugger all options available then I think we have to grab him if he plays

hewett may play the first few rounds. i think mills will be the only rookie who may cement a spot early as he is playing shaw's old role and if plays well in there will definately cement a spot like heeney did

How about Tom Phillips at Cwood? Looks the goods. plays forward.
JS?
Hibberd at NM? :-\

doubt it, probably Clarke before Hibberd and he's a longshot, imo.

Brad Scott is an absolute stinge when it comes to playing rookies.

Agree, Mason Wood is 22 years old and has played 7 games, couldn't even get a game as a sub last year. Most others from his draft have 40 - 60 games up already.

Not that we need more forward rookies and Schache is a little expensive at $216k but Leppa has confirmed he will start Rd 1.

Damn, was hoping Hewett could somehow break in

Boy. Currently have a Mills Menadue Gresham Davis M8-11 setup. I'd love to be able to ditch someone like Lincoln McCarthy to a mid rookie, but they're scarily scarce. Even Gresham and Davis aren't guaranteed a gig. What are people's current mid benches looking like?

fanTCfool

Clayton Oliver in M9 could be necessary
