Brown was recruited to play in defense so I presume he will play there.

Well that gives me a bit more confidence then. It might possibly be a bit tall but Grimley/Daniher/McKernan could play as the 3 tall forwards. If they are too tall then one of Grimely/McKernan goes and Ambrose/Langford come in. I'm curious to see how the line up through the NAB challenge.

Sicily will be a #SuperCoach player. 4 disposals, 1 goal and 50 points to half time.

Kerridge will be a lock for rd 1 as well based on tonight

28 possessions,  17 contested, 6 clearances, 8 tackles.

Only thing i can see is what is the chance he will play on ball like he did for most of tonight?
No Murphy or Cripps tonight would mean he sees a little less time in the mids.

At 137k if he plays there are few rookies that can pull numbers like that. Especially when you consider there was no time added on.

Im ignoring he points scored due to the rule changes.
No time added on, will mean everything gets more points than they actually would otherwise. Add in if you perform in the crunch times in these games the points scaling can be ridiculous.
His goal was the one that drew them level thus the higher points total. Contested mark, Long Effective Kick, Goal. With scaling that alone would have got him 25+

The were a couple of players around the 250k mark that were solid, but not worth a look at their prices. No other rookies really showed anything worth

Apart from Murphy, Gibbs and Cripps are there any Carlton mids better than Kerridge?

Daisy at his best yes but not many more IMO. Happy to pick Kerridge as an F6-F8 option.

I don't think there are really.
Daisy as you say, in his prime, but he generally lines up on half forward, and I think that Graham will do the same.
I rate E.Curnow highly, but he will usually tag so that rules him out.
Those 4 would be my top 4 mids.

Totally agree with that. I see him as Top 4 mid for them too.
He is def no worse than Tutt or Graham.

Mat0369

He is effectively replacing Carrots. Curnow can go to half back if needed, Graham will rest at half forward like he did tonight (was quite effective in front of goal). The way I see it, our midfield will be made up of these guys

Murph, Cripps, Gibbs, Simmo, Buckley, Kerridge, Docherty, Graham, Curnow, Boekhorst, Cuningham, Wright, Whiley, Thomas, Walker, Tutt and Lamb.

Some of those guys will be on the fringes in terms of selection, some will start in other positions and rotate through for short spells. We're lacking those inside guys with Brock, Judd and Carrots all retired to help out. The two pure inside mids we have are Cripps and Graham. Murph and Gibbs can both play that contested role, but you want someone feeding the ball out to them, Curnow, Whiley and Kerridge will all have opportunites to do that, as will Wright.

I only watched bits of the game, but when I watched and saw him a lot of his disposals were rushed, shanks, ineffective etc

Lock to start on field though, most likely at F5/6

He got eight tackles which is gold, even if his disposal count drops off with the inclusion on Murphy and Cripps he will still score well if can keep those kind of number going

Holz

Im not too hyped up about kerridge.

he was always in my team but its no whetehr i risk him at f6 or have him safe at f7.
