Even he if doesnt line up rd1, I'm starting Petracca

He can sit on the bench until he comes in

I wouldnt but i burn trades like mad. Ideally he comes in round 4 and you get 3 prices rises.

for example.

Jansen 120k by round 6 lets say he has gone up to 250k downgrade him to a petrecca. then have 130k in the bank.

can use that to pick up any bolter

Yeah fair point

Will just play it by ear. If he misses rd1 but word is he was really close I think I'd still start him

If he's not, then id pass and grab him on his bubble as a downgrade target like u say

Grimley seems like a decent chance for a round 1 gig.  A rookie R/F has major ramifications for team structures.

Will he play though? McKernan and Daniher will play forward with Leuey in the ruck. Where does Grimley fit in?

Leuenberger can't even bloody run,  how the hell is he gonna get a game!

Intra club game was very interesting down at Punt Road, as per usual Martin dominated but any decent coach will be locking him in from the start. Nathan Broad played very well and could replace Batchelor, particularly if Yarran fails to get up. Townsend played well but not really SC relevant. Chol took a screamer but won't be ready for a couple of years. Corey Ellis very quiet, will need a good NAB Cup to dislodge some of the new recruits. Conca had plenty of the ball and looks a good pick even though he was playing in the back 6 (I think that will change when he gets some match fitness).

I said earlier I didn't think Gresh would be ready to go round one. I was wrong

by all reports so far he was awesome in the intra club. hopefully he keeps impressing and is looked at for round one!

Hasn't left my side from day 1.

I've been saying he will be a lock for ages now, and I'm sticking with it

Worst case scenario, I eat humble pie  :P

Richmond would be silly not to consider playing Broad from the get go. Mature aged tallish half back who has a lethal left foot. Happy to hear he is going well as I think he is a very valid bench option for the defense.

Broady is a right footer man. Just kicks ok on his left

Ricochet

In fact, the one thing that may keep him from playing RD1 is his kicking

Marcon is the one I want named in R1... gives another 20k in the kitty. Knocking on the door apparently.

Ringo

From one report on yesterdays trial

'Lester’s appearance in the top side ahead of Jarrad Jansen was also telling" So that may mean Jansen is a little down the pecking order given that for the first half was a probables side.
