I think I'll pick Hewett. I am worried about cash in the bank though. How much cash should we have spare in case we need to upgrade one of these cheaper rookies to the likes of Parish etc? I think $100k is safe but that cash could be used to help a lot else where

Was going to do that myself, but if Hewett or Dunkley get dropped in a week or two's time you'll be kicking yourself

Leaning towards Bennedy and Milera. Reckon McCarthy has good JS, but won't score as much as the others however is cheaper

I have Kennedy and McCarthy. After the Hawks the Cats have GWS, Brisbane at Skilled and Essendon. He might pop a decent score into his rolling average in those 3 games which could see him rise quick enough to turn into Petracca. If I don't go with McCarthy I think I would rather McGovern or Papley at F8. They are cheaper then Milera and could both average 60ish.

Bennedy and McCarthy. With so much uncertainty about all the rookies surely you want to just sew up the ones with decent JS?

I initially thought the same thing but I am trying to think of who actually is the like for like player that pushes him out. Jenkins, Lynch and Tex are all playing. Unless they are doing it to stretch the North defense he must bring something to the side that another player doesn't. Maybe Menzel is the guy to push him out but don't bank on that happening any time soon where as Cameron could force Milera out of the side.

Considering they are going to sit at F8 why not just pocket the cash and then use it for corrective trades at the end of round 2?
