Rumour has it he missed due to injury. I'm waiting to hear what exactly it is before making the call.

Does that mean he is not as far as expected?

I'd say they would play him in 1-2 VFL games then he would be straight into the team, not far away i don't think.

I have been considering Mullet for a while now.

Is it too risky to start Hartley and sit him at F8 for now? Surely he gets games soon

I think I might do this and cross my fingers. My only other options are Lee and Ruggles and they don't exactly fill me with confidence.

Thinking Tom Lee will be named for the Saints. Contracted till end of 2016, enjoyed some good form for Sandy in defence before being injured last year and considering the lack of height in the named squad I can't see how they leave him out... we'll find out soon enough..
With Hartley not named I'm going to straight swap him for Lee. OMac was the other option but his R22 &23 showed that for 15 possies he struggled to crack 40SC pts... Lee is a beautiful kick...accurate and long...looks a good option. Hoping he gets the nod and takes his chance. His preseason form has been superior to that of Goddard's.
Fingers crossed... otherwise I'll have to take the punt on OMac but that looks yucky.

Same here, best case he plays next week or week after - worse case his traded to Bonner, Collins etc when they are named.
