2016-7
First crack at sorting through the rookies.
Def:  KK, Bartel, Hibberd, B Smith, E McKenzie, C Byrne, (M Brown, R Bonner)
Mid:  GAJ, Sloane, Rockliff, Parker, Libba, B Crouch, J Hopper, J Gresham, (M Hibberd NM, B Keays, S Kerridge)
Ruc:  Jacobs, NicNat (M King)
Fwds:  D Martin, H Bennell, M Barlow, Luey, Wells, B Kennedy (O Markov, McTipu)
Cash:  86,400

Went Mckenzie for JS and reliable scores..  Expect first four to avg 90 -90+ and be keepers.
Mids:  Sloane to have a consistent year and capable of 120+, Tossing up Parker, Wines and Pendles for D4 but gone with Parker getting back to 2014 form.   Hopper as I expect him to play and perform, Gresham likewise.   Not sure of Hibberd but has DPP.  Expect Keays and Kerridge to get early games.
Rucks:  Looked to save money and went Jacobs, most resilient of the rucks and should do 105-110,
Fwds:  Expect Martin and Bennell to be top 2 or 3 fwds.   Barlow due to value,  Luey for points, cash and Ruck coverage and looking to end R3/F6-7,  Wells stepping stone and points,  Kennedy best rookie forward.
Feedback welcome.

Can't really fault it mate, you haven't just picked basement rookies plus the 86k means you should be able to adjust come rd1 team announcements!

Very similar to mine just one extra back premium for you as I have Shaw, Pendles, Goldy, and Lids who all chew up a bit of extra cash!

Money Shot

Jacobs is a flat track bully according to statistics and this year he has a hard year. In saying that I love the team mate. Well done.

Thanks  Previous teams had goldy and pendles.  Shaw is best of the backs but you are paying overs.   Lids likely to be 100-110 and top 3/4 fwds again.  good choices

He is up against Goldy at Etihad in Round 1 as well. However Adelaide's draw looks ok fter that until the Freo match in round 6 to consider Sauce (when weighing up the ruck matchups)

May be a flat track bully, but gets the numbers on the board and stays on the ground.   Would love to start goldy and history just is not on his side.   Great for everyone if he stays up above 120 and I dont really see why he cant.    For me options for cash elsewhere.   AK expect him to avg 105-110 so happy with his price.

4/6/2/3 Keepers

Ringo

Nice Team here Crowls just a bit optimistic with keepers as there are a couple I would put in the maybe basket.  You can trade them anyway.
Worth sitting on till we see which rookies emerge.

Thanks BigMac.    I use both Firefox and Chrome and couldnt get it to work with either.   Is there a setting in FF that needs adjusting?
Again thanks for posting the image

No worries mate

Only thing I can think of is that you have copied the actual imgur link and tried to use that to post the picture here

On to your team, I love the midfield, pretty much the same as mine but I don't have Crouch. Really like the Gray pick too, as he's already had two great years and I have no concerns about his future scoring (as opposed to someone like Selwood or Dangerfield)

Rucks fairly standard, I would prefer to have Goldy there but obviously his price makes things difficult.

I do have a few concerns about your backline, as imo with guys like KK, Yeo and Smith there is a very real chance that none or only 1 of them will fire this year, making the back end of the season very trying. Note that Redden is also joining the midfield at the Eagles this season, leaving even less room for Yeo there

Also have my concerns about the two freo boys in the forward line. Bennell won't be getting as much mid time as he did last year which could see a dip in his scoring, and imo Barlow has started his decline. Personally I am also staying away from Leuey, his injury history and the new essendon line-up makes him too much of a risk for me

Big Mac looked long and hard at the over 500k boys but really against paying overs for backmen who are likely to average 90-95 at best.   McV has injury cloud over prep and his age, houli is unlikely to stay up again.  I am a big simpson fan, and plan on upgrading to him, heater and/or mcv at a later stage.   Sure to get a few of the low 400 boys step up and understand it is a risk.   If any of them were to be left out it would probably be Yeo.

Bennell has an injury cloud and may not start in my team come round one.  however i feel he will be top 3/4 forward by years end.    Barlow, I will monitor where he plays but should be reliable.   Not fond of many of the forwards due to high variability.   KPP definitely not.   Was considering Greene, Zerret at F3/F4.   Do not see Dahlhouse maintaining his high scoring with Libba back in.  Looking for this years Bont and Mitchell.  Not many options is there?
