First crack at it for 2016.     Was reviewing my early teams for 2015 and saw my team up to last week before the season was my best starting team.   That last week was just too much playing around and not having faith in the prior research.  So this year I will keep the faith.

Good solid team.  Like the Hanley/Bell selections, although my guess is you really wanted Zorko up front but ran out of money. :)

Thanks Ronl.     Long way to go.    Very interested in player positions when they are released.
Like Zorko just concerned his mid time will decrease with Beams and Rockliff both on the park

Are you sure about Lance Franklin? I would much rather a mid like Zorko but I guess you have your reasons. I was looking at Tom Lamb my self but think he will struggle to play consistently with JJK and Darling in the side I personally would choose Dan Menzel over him. Apart from that it looks good!

def: hodge&Simpson seem to be pods, like yeo and smith... Yeo will benefit with Mckenzie coming back hopefully giving him a more permanent midfield role
Mid: track fyfe's preseason! Hanley is an interesting pick, would think there'd be better options but I'd have to look.
RUC: can't go wrong
Fwd: frsnklin is underpriced but a risky option and I'd be pitting Zorko v Bell to see who benefits most from reddens departure. Zorko right now for me!

Franklin is a placeholder for me as I dont like KPP in forward line (or any line for that matter)  Agree will look at Zorko et al closer to season and after DPP are made clear.

Agree if Myers comes in at 250K  would probably be a lock.    Hanley was to give me something to think about.  I am hoping he gets DPP and could be a link to Hodge.

Appreciate the feedback provided guys.  It all helps the process.

Reviewed to include first cut at rookies.  Kept Bell v Zorko,  Sidebottom for Hanley but will review once DPPs come out.

Can upgrade to Yeo if needed.     Backs are always such a flaky area with largest swings.

Being a Bomber supporter as well, I have to say it's a brave man who selects David Myers.  Has had a shocking, and unlucky, run with injuries. Don't think I'll bite, rather go with a fit young rookie at the same price.

Only going to need 6-8 weeks for cash generation.   which is guaranteed compared to a rookie option.

Guaranteed spot in best 22 (when fit) much more appetising than a rookies's JS
