Heard on the radio this morning whilst driving into uni that there was some big news coming out of Sydney that would impact the Swans chances against Freo, but didn't get to find out what it was as I got to uni before they said it. Anyone else know or heard anything?

Not sure, I know they are saying in WA that Sandilands and Johnson (who were 'chances') are defn not playing this week?

Will help since we have lost Sinclair

Freako posted a tweet a few hours ago saying McVeigh is unlikely for the trip to Perth, but I can't see that impacting the result of the game haha

No, actually the other thing could be the forecast.

Wind, Rain, hail and frogs coming out of the sky!!

team is flying - Horse has taken away the Buddy-centric happenings from the mid-way point of the season but he's still an influence ...

i'm still worried if we get into a close final due to the 'lack of composure' and leadership in the close losses (Tigers/Dogs/Hawks) but if the team can dominate and keep things 'comfortable' then still a flag contender!   ;)

First 3 weeks of the finals there will be a game in Sydney!!!!

Lot of talk Mitchell is off to the Hawks if he does move I rate him as the best inside mid contested ball winner and tackler that will be up for grabs this trade season so how will the Hawks get him do they have a high draft pick up there sleeve ? surely there are other clubs that will be able to offer better deals for the Swans than the Hawks ?

I am still quietly confident he stays. Swans wont want to let him go and if he didnt leave 2years ago when he wasnt getting a game I cant see him leaving when he is one of our main mids.

Will be very interesting though to see what Hawks could come up with for a trade. Would need to be at least an early first round pick plus player or another first round.

He is easily equal to Prestia and worth more than JOM

I think he is worth more than both of those guys he is durable and if left to tear up the midfield week in week out will be a star , you guys have the luxury with your depth to use him as a tagger sometimes I think you guys are going to have to find the cash to keep him , maybe Buddy or Tippett can help fund him  :P

kilbluff1985

yeah whilst he is getting games now he might not like the tagging jobs he gets

Tippett and Mills ruled out for this weeks must win clash vs Adelaide

yeah not ideal.

Laidler and Nankervis held from the NEAFL team suggests they will be the straight swaps in.

Would rather see Bombers go after Mitchell than JOM.  probably cost less and will deliver more without the same risks involved.
