OK to get back to the draft and as I have not heard back from my assistant coach making this selection but on our list of priorities.

No secret that Royals need forwards so we will take Josh Schache with pick 10.  And no Lions bias here as he was rated 3 in CD Top 30 draft rankings.

Was tempted to go to autopick but in the context of drafting thought it better to formally pick him.

I meant not even consider talking to assistants and just jump at the chance of picking up your clubs most important player for the next 10 years.

I'm not angry about being forced to take Weitering - that's the rule and you guys are sticklers to them so fair enough I suppose.

What I'm not a fan of is the lack of common courtesy by SOMEBODY to not give Torp at least some time to be able to take a pick - it's not like round 1 starts tomorrow and we have to get all of our picks done asap.

Was very close to taking him with 12. Was always wishful thinking he could sneak to us at 19  :'(
