Fremantle midfielder Michael Barlow is likely to miss the next three to four weeks after fracturing a finger in the game against Collingwood on Friday at the MCG.

Barlow injured the finger during the later stages of the game on Friday, and has had surgery to repair the damage.

“He got his finger caught in an awkward position and fractured it rather seriously,” high performance manager Jason Weber said.

“He’s had surgery this week and he’ll be around the three to four week mark before he can come back.”

Official reports still saying 2-3 weeks. Beveridge said Wood and JJ are chances to return this week though.

So Dahl Round 17-18 return at best? Surely he goes back through the VFL too?

Dunno if I can wait that long, was hoping to move on Kerridge/Tracca quicker than that

wow. barlow out is huge. glad i traded him when he got dropped now haha.

dahl probably wont go through the VFL. at best he will be back at round 17. but i think it will be 18. not sure if i can continue holding him  :-\
