Know he isn't playing this week anyway but Scott Pendlebury listed as ankle TBC
Did he do something in yesterdays game that I missed?

Only thing I can remember was in Q2(?) where he got studded from behind around the ankle.

Not sure who it was but he copped someone stepping/kicking the rear of his ankle during a contest for the ball, think it was in the 2nd or 3rd qtr can't remember but they did replay the incident. Played the game out appearing to be ok but had it iced walking off the ground. Feel the two weeks rest should be enough to recover, think or hope.  :-\

Saw footage of him tonight where he was wlaking into the club for training/recovery and he was walking fine no strapping off any kind on the ankle, seemed ok. :)

Yeah I reckon it's that. Great timing considering the Pies have the bye this week. Rest up son  ;)

Pies just trying to lengthen their injury list as some sort of excuse if you ask me  ;)

Err.... both ankles?  O...oooo....ok.

Time to look a little harder at Lycett.

Well he's dropped for disciplinary reasons. In comes Giles. Wow, that's huge!!

I would be very surprised if he returned tbh. Think it's in both his and the Iggs best interest if he rests up for the rest of the season, and comes back next year at his best again. Maybe, maybe, he returns in finals. But, again, I'm not sure if that would be a good idea. Will have to see how his recovery goes I guess.

Bad news for Dougal Howard owners suspected he's done an ACL...

Head of high performance Darren Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au they won't know the extent of the injury until early next week.

"It looks like Dougs has some damage to his ACL - he'll have scans on Monday which will confirm the extent of the injury," he said.

Terrible news for him and for Port too, another big man being unavailable is just what we need... :'(

Just visited saintsational website and checked saints team v Geelong thread. FWIW a respected poster who is usually on the money has indicated Tom Lee will play the next game.
I watched the Saints v Carlton on TV and barely sighted Lee...but apparently he played the whole first half which I found incredibly surprising. Even though he scored only 14 SC, the talk is he shouldn't be dropped...totally blanketed and nullified Everitt which may have been his sole instruction.
Not saying he will play but found it interesting reading and as a Lee owner and two saints bye rounds to play I need him.
