James Podsiadly tells us Wayne Milera is Adelaide's only injury concern & will be assessed during the week - no issue with Sam Jacobs' knee

Not sure exactly what the injury but I have heard it is a quad. Could be time to cash him in this week if he misses.

Was always on the cards to go this week.

Stefan Martin will have scans today and tomorrow to determine the extent of injuries sustained in an incident with Gold Coast SUNS players Steven May.

The 29-year-old ruckman was flattened in the final minutes of the first half and stretchered off.

Martin failed a concussion test last night and has slight bruising and swelling to his face this morning.

Looking like a trade is on the cards unfortunately, was really loving the look of the big lad.  :(

Apparently he wasn't doing well last night, heard on Triple M that someone (i think a teammate maybe) gave him a call to check up on him and he had really bad headaches and was feeling really crook.

From the article as well comment by Marty Francis

"Stef's health is paramount and we wouldn't want to rush his return," he said.

So would suggest he is probably going to miss a week or two.

He stayed with the Lamberts last night so they could monitor him and sounds like he had delayed reaction to the concussion which is reasonably normal.

Hope he is not at home by himself.  Would be irresponsible if it was.    Out next week will be a donut.   With a bunch of rooks about to get rested as well will be ugly week.

Haha more evidence to ensure May gets a decent holiday, I wonder.

Was a big knock, seeing it early thought's were he's flowered for next week also. There the hits that affect you for a few games those ones.
He went down quicker than Dudge seeing a jelly fish in the air.

Perfect opportunity to lock away Goldy I think.

Even if he does come back which is likely would not bring him in (unless you have kept him on bench) as is B/e is 184 and will drop further making him cheaper in the next couple of weeks.

He's on my bench in SC and DT.

Milera ruled out and Brad a chance to be back this week but doubt we'd risk him.

http://www.afc.com.au/news/2016-04-18/injury-update-round-5

Wayne Milera has been ruled out of Adelaide’s clash with Hawthorn because of a quad complaint.

Milera experienced quad soreness late in the Club’s win over the Sydney Swans on Saturday night.

GM of High Performance Brett Burton said the promising first-year Crow, who has played the opening four games of his debut AFL season, required further assessment on the injury.

“Wayne, unfortunately, hurt his quad in the last quarter and he’ll be unavailable to play this week,” Burton said.

“We’re still gathering information on that and we’ll have an update in the next 24 - 48 hours.”

Brad Crouch is nearing a return after a fortnight out with a hamstring issue.

Burton said the young midfielder could be available for selection as early as this week.

“Brad’s been going along really well over the last week or two,” he said.

“He’s been building up his training loads from that slight hamstring strain. We’ll assess him later in the week to see whether he’ll be available for selection.”

I honestly think it had a bit to do with his shower form. They just need him to freshen up a bit. He didn't get much of a pre-season through injury so there's a far chance it has something to do with that. Fingers crossed he's back in this week.
