Confirmed Thurlow has an ACL with a full reconstruction required.  Feel for the lad just when he was cementing his place in the cats team.

That's terrible news. ACL's are so cruel, but the thing that is worrying is that they seem to be happening more and more often nowadays??

Faster game nowadays = higher impact. It's still no NFL

Damn, he looked in alot of pain when it happened. Didn't seem to happen like conventional  ACL's happen it seemed an odd incident so hoped for the best for him but not to be.  :(

He was extremely important to Richmond last season so it'll be interesting to see how they cope there.

Just a bit tight after training and is an absolute certainty to play round 1 according to Leppa

Marstar

According to the Brissy Lions sight ... he's had the back related hamstring niggle through preseason.

With the amount of Brissy supps here i thought this info would have come out alot earlier :p

Here i was thinking he was training the house down all preseason ;(

GoLions

It was mentioned around the forum a few times, but it's nothing serious, so not much discussion really needed

Marstar

There's a Rocky Ablett thread top of page 2 and it's mostly about concerns for Ablett  ... haven't seen anything else Rocky specific for a month.

No mention in the Team Announcement thread about him missing NAB 3 as a big out.

I'm sure Danger JPK Pendles Etc would have had multiple threads by now if they missed NAB with a niggle :p

Like the last 10 comments in that thread were related to Rocky's injury, and I also mentioned it in the brisbane discussion thread

But it's irrelevant because he'll be fine ;)
