Pendles a reasonable chance of playing this week

- Collingwood FC injury vid

A mate had coffee with Pendles yesterday. Apparently he's been icing his ankle on the hour every hour and will be good to go Friday night. Straight from the horses mouth

That's great news. Know just hoping he doesn't aggravate it early in the game

bonebones

Nice work Woppa. I'll hold you to it come 19:50 Friday night  ;)

Icing his ankle every hour on the hour except when he goes out for a cafe latte!    Would prefer he rested and came back the following the week.[/size]

Indeed Crowls, that is the worry. 10 mins into the 1st & grimacing & limping &..........mothballed.

Shouldn't matter though really, I'd expect most teams in finals have Pendles so everyone will be in the same boat if he scores horribly

I honestly don't know why they're risking Pendles at all

They should've come out and said he's done for the year, our year is shot come back in 2017

Pendles isn't a quitter and will always play if he physically can

No doubt
But this isn't about quitting. This about making sure your best player and captain doesn't do any long term damage to himself with only 3 weeks to go and gets himself ready for a full 2017 preseason. The finish of this year is simply for pride, and everybody knows he has more than just about anyone in the league
For Collingwood's sake too, they'd get more out of chucking a young kid in the deep end to take over his mid role and see if they're up to AFL standard than to play the champ anyway. Everyone also knows he's one of the best in the comp

Too bad it'll probably be alongside Smith, meaning both will score 50s to 60s...

True Woppa but of the 2 highest scorers of the last 8 in the RDT Eliminator neither has Pendles or Franklin for that matter. The draw isn't out yet but I will certainly be hoping to avoid either of those 2 in preference for someone who has both those players.

Jay

Deledio still TBC on Richmond's injury list.

Stef averaged 53 with Trent West in the side. Am expecting similar if he gets up this week :( hopefully Pendles is okay so I can trade Stef.

For someone who can move and be as agile as Stef for his size, I can't believe how terrible he is when chucked outside of playing ruck
