QuoteDavid Swallow (knee) and Jaeger O'Meara (knee) are both expected to contest match simulation drills in the coming weeks and take part in the NAB Challenge.

Andddddddddd in comes omeara to everyone's super coach sides!

3 mid pricers in the midfield then? That is a fair bit of risk IMO. I will be only starting 2 of Libba, Crouch and O'Meara and I know which I am not starting.

Well I have 4 now ;). 2016, the year of the mid pricer!

I don't think so AK. Mid pricers this year are all previously proven or good enough players that with a good nab cup pending, can be chosen with not much risk being involved. JOM, Crouch, Libba, Swallow, EMac, Simpkin, Wells, Eski, Lyons, Lobbe, Daisy etc as examples, plus many more.

For me, will be choosing Libba & one of O'Meara/Crouch, however as stated elsewhere, would rather O'Meara over Crouch. EMac, Wells, Simpkin all ticks, with a good Nab cup. There's 5 already and to me, not much risk in being chosen.

Agree, year of the mid pricer, I usually steer very clear of them, but have to go with what is presented. I have Libba, at the moment I'll have Omeara instead of Crouch if named round one. Simpkin basically a high priced rookie. Also one of Daisy/Wells likely forward. One of MacKenzie/Aish back.

Libba and Crouch are the ones I am picking. I want to see Jaeger's progress before considering him. He must have had a miraculous change in his condition as only upto a week ago he was going to be playing a few weeks at the start of the season in the NEAFL if fit.

Picking all 3.

Also I bet you blokes picking jom over crouch will change your mind come the real stuff.

I had swallow m5 but will pick jom instead and relocate 100k

RaisyDaisy

If he looks fit and firing during nab then he just has to be selected at that price surely?

Don't have him currently, but will fit him in straight away if he's good to go

Yep, too cheap to pass up I think. Even if it does go against my gut

TomK

I just don't know how I would fit him in, my bias will make me pick Crouch over him and I don't know if I want to go M7 deep with midpricers.

He is my m7 if fit and not flinching at all

Is m8 too much though?

I don't think so

Considering he had surgery on not one but two knees last year and then did an ACL when he finally got a run I am steering clear of him. Yes he is talented but there are way to many red flags.

Other lines would have to be very weak if you have Omeara at M8. There are some great mid rookies that you would be missing out on too

MC

Choosing the mid-pricers will make or break your team; i'll be taking a very conservative approach!
