most of the talk has been on how Danger will score at the Cats

but

i think Jelwood could improve with Danger taking some of the oppositions focus away from Jelwood

iZander

Yeah i think he will improve, he had his down year this year, which is the first year he copped the tag pretty much all the time. Prior to that Stevie J took the tag off him quite a bit :P So this year he should be back to his best :D

Thats what I'm hoping anyway haha

I would take danger over selwood. Selwood is still going to get a lot of attention some teams know that they can close him down. Where as danger just keeps getting better

RaisyDaisy

I reckon Mitch Duncan benefits here too. Should be the 3rd mid behind these two, similar to Sidebottom behind Pendles and Swan

Unless he goes back to that half fwd role.

With Guthrie and Caddy in there too, he's probably most likely (along with Motlop) to spend more time forward imo

Agree with this, especially motlop, he will be back in the forward line and score a lot less imo and probably the others too.
Also Blivac will also be pure mid as well id think :D

Enters Scott selwood too. Even less time for duncan. Duncan is a better forward then selwood so i reckon half forward will be where duncan spends 80% of his time on ground.

its Danger v Selwood + 80k

im all over Selwood it will be the 10th year in a row I have him in my team.

I think Selwood excelled from playing forward in previous years as he had some sort of midfield around him so he could do so... Allow him to rest up forward and accumulate more points with the re vamped midfield the cats have

I am not even sure scooter will get a game, he certainly won't take Duncans midfield time, Scooter plays a completely different role in the midfield too, if anything dangerfield coming in will decrease Duncans midfield minutes.

See I'm not too sure about that. Ablett and Rocky yes, but everyone is talking Libba, Crouch, JOM etc and I just don't think I would start any of them

Libba is coming back into a team that has significantly improved since he was last there and even at 500k or so isn't exactly super cheap when we consider their improvement and many players who stepped up. As for Crouch and JOM, I just don't think I would.

I think I'd much rather start a 104avg priced Jelwood over these blokes
