Ellis continued to go from strength to strength in 2015. While his average disposals were marginally down on the previous year he improved his marking and tackling numbers enough to lift his fantasy average another 6 points. Brandon didn't have a huge ceiling during the year, only going 120+ four times, but was very consistent with just one sub 80 game. To pick Ellis as a starter you would need to bet on him continuing his progression and that's certainly a good possibility. He has barely missed a game since debuting which is appealing and has a fairly good draw early in 2016 with a 2015 average of 107.1 vs his first 7 opponents. Most people will probably view him as an upgrade but those who start him as a POD should do so with a relative amount of confidence.
