Tossing up between Martin + Jacobs love to hear thoughts about them both...
Having Jacobs would allow me to sure up golds to a 117k placeholder.

Got Greene to Barlow as well, flicking a few rookies around enabled me to do so!

Real nice team here with a great POD in Macmillan

Im personally starting Martin, just because he is playing sole ruck and he is a beast.. Only issue is he shares the same bye round as Goldy.

I would go Green over Merrett, but thats just me. Will have to see if either get more midfield time this year!

Definitely go with Stef Martin over Jacobs.

Sauce is a flat track bully, last season he averaged 92.5 from 10 games against top-eight teams, and 118.7 from 13 games against bottom-eight opposition. This means he averaged a whopping 26.2 points against weaker opponents.

Now that I look at the fixture, I notice Adelaide have a really easy draw, playing 2015 top-eight teams only once each, with 14 games against lower opposition... so it's your call really. I am still put off by his record against the better teams.

EDIT: I was looking at their 2015 fixture. They play top-eight teams 10 times, Freo and West Coast x2 each, plus Geelong and Port Adelaide twice each.

Money Shot

Yeah I like Martin more as well, He gets possessions as well as taps where as Jacobs is more of the traditional ruckmen in a sense.

Hey mate. Great to see so many in depth responses you are providing to the FF community. Keep up the good work!

DEF: I think MacMillan will be a great pick if he can stay on the park, that's my only knock on him. Fingers crossed he can stay injury free. Yeo and Smith are both great picks. I'm not a fan of the Mackenzie and Francis picks because I feel they are too expensive and could generate just as much cash as some cheaper options. I would upgrade Mackenzie and to a possible keeper and downgrade Francis to a cheaper rookie.

MID: Really like all the guns you have picked. Libba is a no brainer at his price and same goes for Crouch. I don't think Kennedy will play round 1 for us and Trengove is more unlikely than likely at this stage too.

RUC: Set and forget is fine and Goldy and Martin will be two of the best. I just feel Goldy is very expensive though and he should come down in price after a tough first few games of the season. My plan is to start with a Leuey type who should make a bit of cash and then upgrade to Goldy once his price goes down a bit.

FWD: Love the setup here. Four keepers and then Leuey for coverage. Very nice.

Good luck in 2016.

Cheers for all the feedback!

Thinking about it i definitely agree but more to the fact that Sauce + Danger were no.1 ruck rover combination and i feel with him gone it will hurt Jacobs' HOADV %.

Cheers Ben, all about sharing and discussion!
I wasn't sure on francis he was a placeholder but i really like mackenzie! He scored 11 times over 80 in his all aus year as well as 4 100's and even though he is coming back from a knee reco i feel he can put out similar scores and make 150k in quick time and i can hold him as a last upgrade or d7 coverage!

as a pie fan kennedy is a gun and exactly what you guys need, FWD/MID who is quick agile and wins so much ball. Problem is he can't kick. Will average 70+ with the sub rule gone! You add him in with Brayshaw/Petracca/Salem and boy do you have something for the future!!

I think i made a comment in the goldy feed and on MS's feed about goldy, which will reply to that!

My forwards are almost set just think ill go with greene over merrett and name my Team Zerritt or something so i still have merrett apart of it!

What is your reasoning for not selecting Fyfe?

What is your reasoning for not selecting Fyfe?

Having had shin splints before from doing less than half the work load afl players do i know that they're so hard to get rid of and it worries me that fyfe's got so bad during the year that he ended up fracturing his leg. I think caution will be taken with him whether it be games off from being rested or playing more of a forward orientated role. If the rumours are that hes flying fit or killing pre season then ill go back and have a look at him. I also think that Selwood, Rockliff, Ablett, Pendlebury are all undervalued and can be top 5 mids.

This! So accurate
Personally dont have fyfe in my starting side atm either

Ringo

Nice side. Only minor issue is Selwood.  Selwood traditionally if you look at his stats starts OK, then has a drop off and then comes home strong.  So be prepared for a rollercoaster ride.  You will have to be strong if starting him and not trade him out when his value starts to fall as he throws in below par scores.

Yeah I totally agree with you Ringo
Upon fiddling with my side Selwood was dropped and I'm now holding D.Swallow at M4 which I like as it has given my side a more balanced look.

Still have to have a bit more of a fiddle to be sure

Ordered my prospectus for 2016, until that comes in going to have to suss out my new driver which Santa (I) got myself!
So last instalment of 2015 for me!
Hope you all had Merry Christmas and have a HNY! (Will still try to comment on as many teams as possible!)

DEF: J. Macmillan, E. Yeo, D. Rich, B. Smith, E. Mackenzie, J. Wagner (M. Brown, D. Tucker)
MID: S. Pendlebury, G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, D. Swallow, T. Liberatore, B. Crouch, P. Ahern, N. Freeman (C. Petracca, M. Hibberd, B. Keays)
RUC: T. Goldstein, S. Martin (M. King)
FWD: H. Bennell, C. Wingard, M. Barlow, Z. Merrett, M. Leuenberger, S. Kerridge (M. Adams, A. McDonald-Tipungwuti)
CASH LEFT: $2,400

Rich can score now attention will be off him, Mackenzie a placeholder for cheaper rookie but I can see myself holding him!
I think swallow become elite or semi elite Bennell gone helps that!
Can't resist a piece of my boy Zachy Merrett real gut feel for him!
Would love opinions that I can mull over!

ben_020285

Defence way too weak with Macmillan at D1. Need at least one of McVeigh or Bartel if not both.

D Swallow doesn't make sense as a pick in the mids in my opinion. I don't think he will average 110+ which is what you want from a MID keeper.

The rest is good but you need to fix those weaknesses.

Not in agreement with Ben, FT.    Historically 500K plus defenders dont justify their prices.   So this defence certainly merits consideration.   McViegh is on my list for consideration, as he is most likely to get close to his price.    The rest of 500K+ will all drop price and can be upgrades later in the season.    Freed up cash enables you to premo the rucks and get a strong mid line.   Swallow is an option but better options available.
Good looking team

Dons

Don't mind a cheaper defence at all, Macmillan is my D1 atm too.  I think  your too too heavy in the fwds tho, and would downgrade one to upgrade another mid. Only 3 proven premiums is a little shallow for me. Rucks expensive but could be the best 2 for the year right there.
