Just didnt love the squad without goldy. Also reckon thomas worth a look at 250k (yes been burn before)

J.Mcveigh, A.Rance, J.Bartel, B.Smith, R.Harwood, J.Weitering( A.Francis,M.Brown)
R.Sloane, J.Selwood, T.Rockliff, G.Ablett, J.Omeara, B.Crouch, D.Thomas, C.Mills (J.Hooper J.Gresham, C.Oliver)
S.Martin, T.Goldstein (D.Currie)
D.Martin, M.Barlow, J.Gunston, L.Franklin, C.Petrecca, Kennedy (N.Kommer, N.Cockatoo)

my only concern is alot of cash sitting on the bench in Hopper, Francis. Probably will get rid of Jom Crouch and or Thomas for mid rookies.

That's a pretty ridiculous team. Can that all fit in the 10M Cap? That's a beast starting line up

Brilliant starting side but no way in the world will that team fit in the 10M cap surely.

Holz

ok oops it was looking abit too good to be true. Checked and for some reason it only counted one of my rucks on the fanplanner

so I re did the whole team from scratch. still like the look of it

J.Mcveigh, A.Rance, J.Bartel, R.Harwood, J.Weitering, A.Francis (M.Brown, N.Broad)
G.Ablett, R.Sloane, T.Rockliff, J.Selwood, J.Omeara, B.Crouch, J.Hopper, C.Mills (B.Keays, J.Gresham, R.Mathiewson)
T.Goldstein, S.Martin (D.Currie)
D.Martin, M.Barlow, J.Gunston, L.Franklin, M.Kennedy, C.Petrecca ( N.Kommer, S.Mengola)

strategy is go the best of the best with the guys in Red.
ones in blue will keep untill jump to a super premo or stick on bench.

Grazz

Looks more of a reality now mate and still like the look of it. ;)

GM

Grazz is spot on here.
Would love that starting line up.
I hope to start the Goldy / Martin combo aswell mate .
I have Kerridge instead of Buddy and Fyfe instead of Jelwood.
I think Jelwood has seen his best days and just seems to be an angry ant now.
I think Libba needs to be there.
Maybe downgrading Gunston to another mid price fwd bargain will give you cash.

GM

Fyfe is surely the first picked mid now.
Will only get better which is scary.

It's a tough one, very very very rarely to players back up such a huge year

The guy still cant kick.

Ablett rocky Pendles will match him.

Others like Sloane much more value

Only concern with Sloane is the tag now Danger is at the Cats.

Gunston my second picked forward. Gun.

Jelly is a champ one down year. Danger can only help. 110 at worst

If you are going to take a risk for me it would be keep Ablett and Pendles before paying superpremo for Fyfe.  I figure we can only start 2 out of 3 of these and upgrade asap the one that doesnt start.

Gold Martin as ruck keepers is strong combo.  History shows rucks rarely backup so to start 1 and 2 seems to be leaving you open to a problem.    However at least you will gain points and any other ruck will also be prone to injury and/or poor performance.     Beleive we will be able to get Goldy cheaper in 5/6 weeks.  Question is how much cheaper and how many points have we foregone waiting?

Stef Martin has backed it up 111 110 i reckon he goes 105-115

Goldy wont back up his score but apart from hmac and injury he has basically gone 113+ for 5 years straight. Cant go too wrong with that. Even if he goes 115 he should beat every other ruck and Jacobs is only a 100k cheaper.

so 5 points per gain and a trade for 100k seems alright for me.

Rather then pick up someone like Parish as a mid rookie ill go a cheap guy so Goldy + Mathiewson should be Jacobs + Parish

Holz

J.Mcveigh, A.Rance, J.Bartel, R.Harwood, J.Weitering, A.Francis (M.Brown, M.Brown)
N.Fyfe, G.Ablett, R.Sloane, T.Rockliff, J.Selwood, D.Parish, J.Hopper, C.Mills (B.Keays, J.Gresham, R.Mathiewson)
T.Goldstein, N.Nat (D.Currie)
D.Martin, M.Barlow, J.Gunston, L.Franklin, M.Kennedy, C.Petrecca ( N.Kommer, S.Mengola)

150k in the bank now as Ablett i reckon will be much more expensive.

been thinking about it and leaning towards Fyfe + Parish over Libba + Jom/Crouch combo

lets say 120 and 75 so 195 for 858k

v

100 and 100 so 200 for 750+

yes option two potentially more points for less price but less trades needed and another captain option. being ambitious with the 200 points and possibly abit harsh on the 195.

Defence i like... Jimmy is a good pick can average 100 if he swings around everywhere (fwd and back)
Midfield is good, think you need libba there though. Out of the three guys hes the one who can go above 105+ average and be super premo.
Forwards not sure on Gunno... Don't think hes top 10 forward material, unless this lack of depth down there stays like this.

if you wanted to free up cash..
Best bet would be goldy to martin, which i expect will be a 5-10 point difference over the year but means you could add 30-40 a week if you can get parish to libba...
i think that may leave you 20-30k short though with what i priced ablett at 560k

Gunston top 5 forward very happy with him.

If you know me im not dropping Goldy.

Im hearing the discount are smaller now. A ACL is serious and other dogs have lifted without him.
