Nice structure Holz. Gee a few of us are getting into the 5 super premo midfield and with good reason. Like it as well because if any of them go down with LTI will be able to trade down as I see these 5 being possibly the Top 5 and have some cash left.

Cockatoo is the only one I have doubts on but just personal as he burnt and teased me last year.

pretty happy with it a few things i need to consider is stuff like

Birchall + Goldy v Gawn + Shaw

the big one is crouch as downgrading him could get me Birchall to Shaw then im starting all upber premos which im happy with.

that mid bench im unvertain off.

Weitering could be another guy who could get me some cash. Weits to a 120k rookie could get me the funds to go Birch to Shaw.

Love it Holz.  I thought my mids were super pumped and you've got Crouch at m7.

Good rookie spread.

I'd consider perhaps adding another forward. The only way you could do it would be to go a bit more midpricey in the backline.  (Yeo and the likes) or downgrading Crouch if he's worrying you.

For the strategy you've adopted, you're pretty much spot on.

Is Weitering worth the outlay? Mcdonald-tippa to defence and bring in Grimley or someone gives a ruck dpp switch and you could go Birchall to Shaw?

thanks a little worried about the forward line but thinking Wells is a safe 22 despite being an injury risk so looking at it as 3 premos and then 3 rookies.

Kerridge im feeling safe about so its just 2 spots that im worrying about. Thats why i have a F/M in the mids so

Bennedy Cockatoo Kommer Mcdonald-Tippa Menadue and Brown can all cover those two spots effectively with 6 options for 2 spots im feeling ok with it.

especially with the bulk points coming through the mids. I actually probably wont touch the midfield unless a crazy cheap option comes up.

Plan on trading aggrasively and hopefully double downgrade early to say Petrecca Trengove then go Bennedy up to a forward premo then ill feel preety safe with 3 premos Wells and Kerridge.

Our teams are starting to look very similar now, here's how it stands.

Rance vs Laird - I will be honest and say that Laird looks like an absolute bargain and safer bet to hit 95. His form at the backend of 2015 was uber consistent, very reminiscent of Michael Hibberd when he was a premium. I love Rance because I'm a Tigers man but I'm not expecting high nineties, I think his average will return to high eighties low nineties, more in line with his career average. Last year was one out the box, much like Houli, Shaw and a few others.

Harwood vs Birch - my take is Harwood is good for 80-85 and Birch is good for 85-90. Birch has the job security which helps but Harwood hasn't been dropped since early 2014, both have dodgy injury history.

Weitering vs Tucker/Adams/Broad/Tippa - this position could go either way, I think Weitering will do a Rivers in his first year and will play like a veteran but 70 is about all one could expect, I think Tucker will eclipse that and the rest will be in the low 60's. job security is the big issue for my rookies and presents some risk.

Mills vs Parker - this will be your achilles heel, I'm tipping Mills will average 75 which is the same as Deledio when he won the Rising Star, I think Parker will average 110.

Cockatoo vs Milera - I love Cocky as a footballer but is he relevant in SC terms? He wasn't last year and for a midfielder he scored very poorly. The problem has always been his low possession tallies, despite the fact he is a contested possession beast. Will be interesting to see which one of these factors triumphs. Milera is averaging over a point per minute in the preseason, he's the best performed rookie so far and he has also dominated at SANFL level. Could go either way but I have to pick the player who looks made for SC.

Rance Laird much of a muchness really. I can go Birchall to Laird if i want so that could be a good move. I think Rance is good for 95, super player and no reason i see him falling looks super in the nab.

Harwood I like but big big injury risk, I needed to see him play this week but the flooding was annoying will mointor. As i said i can put in Laird instead of birch but I like birch for 85-90.

Reason I have weitering is not his average its his games, going weak in defence i want a guy who can play every week and thats weits. all those guys are very good chances of getting rested. With harwood a big injury risk and rookies on field with questionable JS thats asking for trouble. you have more upside but will probably come back to bite you.

Parker will destroy mills but at what cost, if your backline falls apart then your in major trouble and burning trades, meanwhile im burning trades upgrading quick. Hopefully jumping on selwood at like 520k and i think he beats parker after a slow start.

Cocky Milera is easy i pick who i like most from nab 3.

46 32 42 47 from his 4 unsubbed games inst great. I can easily switch in Milera but im more interested again in JS.

65 and 55 is abit more attractive from the NAB. I just want safety if playing 3 rookies.
