Best fat loss method. Interval training. Get the heart rate close to 80% max. Whether that be sprinting, swimming or cycling.

As for food. Best way is to count calories. If your not losing weight, reduce slowly. All trial and error really. Try to get a decent amount of protein and fats. With some carbs in there. All about balance.

Good luck!

Agreed that this works the best for me, I do soft sand sprinting, but it's harder now in Perth with no daylight savings.  Closer it gets to summer the better!

yeah that is a good heart rate lifter. If getting to the beach takes too long, hill sprints on grass are also killer. Even more killer are hill sprints on sand.

Yeah I used to do all that stuff years ago, my shifts are a bit erratic so I tend to go early in the morning if I get the chance, bit harder after work if I finish late.

Yeah mornings can be hard to get going. Need a good dose of caffeine to get you in the mood!

Yeah I take some stuff in the morning pre training, wakes me up and the focus I have is fairly boosted, helps with work too afterwards!

Is this true? Never seen that particular figure mentioned but it does make sense.

You burn more of everything... You have no food in your system (energy) so your body burns itself. Will use muscle as food source also... But if its mostly weight loss your targeting, then it will be fine.

What are Russian twists?
Sit on the floor, legs bent with feet flat on the floor. You body should be perpendicular to you lower legs. Then swivel to the left and right like you a picking a ball up on the left and dropping it on the right and so on
