the 3rd and final match of that cricket all stars thing they're doing is on tomorrow 9:00am (I assume it's AM it didn't actually say)

a much better time to watch it for those interested

Free-to-Air?

yep, on GEM

but of course I've just remembered that I'm goin to watch the UFC tomorrow at a mate's house, so I probably won't see it all... of freakin course

Think Smith errred by leaving Lyon out of the attack for so long once NZ got over the start for the day.

Are those retards on commentary seriously trying to suggest that it wasn't a bump ball? :o

Kane Williamson is a very good player, disappointed that his innings had to end.

Luteru (sounds so much better than Ross :P) Taylor's innings has been great thus far, deserves a 200 imo.

Ross Taylor the first overseas player to score a double ton at the WACA. Also just passed 5,000 career runs.

Can this match have a result? I reckon it will. And the curator will have every right to say in your face to everyone else that was criticising the pitch. Also this will prove (along with that Pak vs Eng first test) why test cricket is the best form of cricket, and why we all love it.

Will be interesting if NZ get a lead of say 100 runs.

auscoyote

Yep! plenty of time for a result either way.

JBs-Hawks

Need Johnson to start bending his back and bowling 140s not low to mid 130s. Otherwise Siddle or Patto are better options.

Nige

Yeah, I think we could see a result either way. NZ surprised today thanks to some great stuff from Williamson and Taylor, really in with a chance here.

If I was NZ, I would have declared once Taylor got his 200. Or somewhere around that time. Have a go at the Aussies late in the day and see if they couldn't make something happen.

I agreed with you when you told me earlier but I heard something that changed my mind. Once the ball started hooping and bouncing and whatnot, they wouldn't have wanted to be chasing 300 on the 5th day. By declaring you sacrific the use of your batsmen, and whilst Taylor is there runs can be scored. Once he goes I suspect they might hit out or at the very least try to score at 4 runs per over.

If they get to 600 before lunch I think they are in a better position than if they declared 100 behind and had taken 3 Australian wickets but be 150-170 behind.

However the Warner injury certainly would've made them think about the declaration. Get him out there batting, Khawaja already not playing, Mitch Marsh went off with a hand problem. Could've had them in tatters I guess.
